It is not recommended to use 4r100 with It wasn't necessary to change the old fluid for my 4R100. Despite the recent turbulence, transmission is still functioning well. On mine, I also put a filter on the side. Every year I replace the side filter.

This would be the fullid for my transmission, which is a 5R110W. I have a What is the difference between 2 and 4 ?

There are 12 quarts in the container An amount that is perfect for service on the trans and transfer case of a '15 F250 Superduty
5/5

In the case you purchase, you can service both the transmission and transfer case on your 2015 F250 4WD.

As the engine was fully warmed up, we drained the transmission (6r140), dropped the transmission pan, and replaced the 10 quarts were consumed in the refill. This procedure is demonstrated in an excellent YouTube video. Ford Technology Makaloco had 2 qts left over for the transfer case service- it was the perfect amount for the It is under $100 if you include the WIX transmission filter with this Mercon LV case. In the Ford dealership, it would have been three times as much.

This is what I installed on my Fusion 2014
5/5

A new fluid was needed for my 2014 Ford a transmission needs to be serviced after 150k miles, but I changed mine earlier at 104k miles since this seemed a bit high to me. I noticed that the old fluid was nearly black in color, like coffee, and it was extremely hot. This quantity equates to 25 quarts. After just a few minutes, it became apparent that there was a difference in the fluid. Now, the shifts are much smoother in the car. In a nutshell It isn't a good idea to wait until 150k to change the fluid in your fusion. There will be no harm done to your car.

Those who have a 2010 model should read this With the 3
5/5

0L Ford Fusion, you can expect a lot of power. If you are using this transmission fluid in a v6 engine, you need it. Ford Fusion SEL with the 3. I have a 2011 Fusion SEL with the 3. The transmission I have has a 6F35, which means my engine is 0L. Let me give you a crash course in this transmission if you don't know about Neither the trans filter nor the RF filter can be serviced. It will start to shift harder and harder between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear as time goes by. It may appear to slip from time to time, or shift a bit harder than usual. It seems to smoothen out after a few kilometers of driving. For this transmission, it is recommended that the trans fluid be drained and refilled every In order to perform this test, you will need to drain the transmission (usually about 4 Qts), fill it up, start the car and navigate the gearbox while keeping a foot on the brake pedal. You should go through each gear five times. Stop your car, check the fluid. (P, R, N, D, M) Put the car in park and shut it off. Try driving the car around for a while if it's still full. Twenty mile journey) Drain and fill again, repeat the same steps. After doing this, do it a third time. This will ensure that most of the old liquid is removed. On these transmissions, a trans flush is strongly NOT recommended. Having said all that, this is the fluid Ford recommends. The case is all you should need to do this process (it is right on the trans dip stick). You should be able to get out about 75 gallons with 3 drain and fills It is composed of 80% fresh water. The next time I get 30,000 miles, I plan on ordering another case.

ATF that is genuine Ford-approved
5/5

At just over 100,000 miles, the fluid was a brownish color. There are approximately 9 quarts of capacity in my 2013 Fusion S, and a little over 4 cubic feet of interior space. When the drain plug is removed, 5 quarts of liquid are drained. I drained the drain plug and filled it with 4 as soon as I had done so. Start the engine and drain the oil cooler return line (located above the left axle shaft region), then shut it down and fill it with additional ATF until the red color returns to the ATF - this should take approximately an hour - We were around 9 - 10 at the time Use a 2-quart marked container to measure 10 quarts A bucket of five gallons. It helped the transmission shift more smoothly with the new fluid. As my fluid will not need to be changed after 150,000 miles, instead I will change it.

Only use this converter if you have a Ford transmission that needs Marcon LV
5/5

Others have claimed that their products are compatible with Marcon LV as well. There is a difference between them. Motorcraft Marcon LV transmissions also have special friction modifiers to make them useful for Ford transmissions for a longer period of time. Even though you can find other brands for less, if you include the cost of transmission repairs, it's not any cheaper.

This is the best price I have found for a quart of boiling water
5/5

At a little under six bucks a quart, you simply cannot beat it. This is on prime, so I hope the 3p seller who has it doesn't run out of stock. My fusion (about 4 quarts) needs to be filled or drained every 20 to 30 minutes The vehicle has 30k miles on it. I believe it will be well worth the 24 bucks (using just the 4 quarts when it comes out) it will be. The manual on Fords makes it clear they should check the auto every 100k, but it's A car with the stock transmission you can brag about hitting 200k with is what you're after, drain and refill the fluid as frequently as possible every 30k and you're good to go. I think the need to replace or rebuild the auto trans of a small car could cause it to be totalled if it is an eight-year-old auto. We will not allow that to There is nothing wrong with my 2012 piece of crap Chevy Cruze, which I have had changed at the same intervals over the past nine months, although the cars should be.

It is Ford's original stuff
5/5

It is what Ford says I should be using A representative of the local Ford dealer said he will match the Amazon price and sell it to me for around $6. I checked with the local auto parts stores and they want more $ for each quart. The fluid will soon no longer be available. Ford plans to discontinue Mercon V fluid soon. Using Mercon LV fluid in place of the old In my car manual, the fluid recommended by Mercon is LV. The Ford vehicles I work on now seem to be very picky when replacing parts and fluids, so I always use Ford parts whenever possible. You can get LV fluid at a very good price now! In order to keep the case for use when I drain and fill my car again, I bought it.

For the best performance from your Ford, use this fluid
5/5

For a 2010 Ford Fusion, this fluid is required. The plug will only drain about 5 quarts, but you'll have extra for the next time. A transmission is an expensive part Contrary to popular belief, don't use comparable fluid. The factory should advise how to maintain your vehicle and at what You'll save a lot of money! Changing oil is like changing the oil in your car. All that is needed is a drain plug. You can do it even easier by using a dipstick pump, but you'll get only two quarts of paint. The best I can do is that. By letting it go too long, you'll end up clogging the filter and developing shifting issues, which will cost a lot of money to resolve!.
