My transmission will work with any ZF transmission, according to the manufacturer. The unit has been installed in my Aston Martin and has worked flawlessly. It is still advisable to check with Chrysler before you install it.
Moreover, I have been assured it will function properly in my 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante, which is equipped with I am not an expert on this but I believe the transmission swaps are interchangeable with BMW transmission requirements.
There is no conflict between this fluid. It is made for ZF transmissions and your bmw x5 with a three-speed transmission. I do have a ZF6 at 0si. While BMW also sells their own brand and the price is lower, this one comes from ZF, so I used it in my 2001 Jaguar XK8 that
That's not clear to me, wouldn't you think so? Several substitutes are available for this Lifeguard 6 fluid used in my 2006 Jaguar XJR, but I would like to purchase only this brand when I upgrade to a new engine. These are some of the notes I made while doing my research. It is ZF's own Lifeguard 6 fluid, meeting Shell specification M1375, that is specified for the 6HP24 transmission. Jaguar stipulated 4 (stipulated by the company). Additionally, ATF MSPs made by Ford Motorcraft Mercon SP and Shell Spirax S4 ATF MSP are identical to those made by Many third-party fluid manufacturers claim that one or more of their products meet Shell M1375, including Shell M1375A and M1375B. The fluid's physical characteristics are vastly different from those of Lifeguard 6, despite its claim to be identical to the fluid in Lifeguard 4. Pentosin ATF 1 is claimed to meet Shell M1375, for example. Although it has a kinematic viscosity of 4, it is 38 degrees Fahrenheit at 40 degrees Fahrenheit. A 0 mm2/s difference compared to a Lifeguard 6 has a transmission speed of 8 mm2/s. The ZF Lifeguard 8 is equivalent to Mercon SP, Mercon LV, and ZF Lifeguard 4 in strength. The ZF manual clearly defines which transmissions are required to be fitted with Lifeguard 6 and which are required to be fitted with Lifeguard 8 and Ford specifically states that the Mercon SP must never be substituted for Mercon LV If we do not do our due diligence, we cannot trust the claims of third-party fluid makers. The recommended setting is what I would recommend if you can find it, and I hope that I am Nick

You shouldn't settle for anything less than the best! Its price is one of the best in I am not going to use any other product, even from Ford. Put it to good use! Take your time and do it right the first time.

I have reached the end of the story. It should be noted that the factory fluid is valid for the lifetime of the TRANSMISSION, not the entire vehicle.

The old BMW oil was kind of brown at 75,000 miles. It needed to be flushed and changed, as well as the mech and tronic seals being replaced because they were dried out and hard.

I like it.

A few years ago, I decided to do tranny flush for my car after it had approximately 70k miles on it. As a result of my ZF transmission being flushed, my shifting has been noticeably improved.

ZF lifeguard 6 fluid works great in my 06 BMW 330i transmission. The shifts are smoother now. I highly recommend it.
