I used this ATF on my Mazda 3i sport 2010 and it works like a charm, it is not just 100% compatible, it is the fluid Mazda order and they rebranded it to look like it.. (nota bene As a power steering fluid, it can also be used MERCON V is never to be used)

For Mazda, the V and M5 are part of the same ATF. ATF fluids like V and M5 can also be used in your power steering. ATF that meets Mazda requirements is also Idemitsu Type M. As for my Mazda 3S 2, I have been using Redline D4 since 2011. There is a power steering pump on the 5L.

You will need to consult your owner's manual to determine the correct type of transmission fluid. You need the exact one that's in your manual and there are a number of different kinds.

I have filled up my gas tank to the max In this light of day, I slid this bad boy into my transmission after flushing out burnt-smelling transmission When shifting in the morning after a cold start, it shifts much better. I also used it for my power steering, which worked flawlessly. A new flush of the transmission will be carried out in 3 months and progress will be reported.

This is a good quality product. Be aware that this is not Mercon V, but Mazda M3/M5 fluid. Mazda only recommends this type of transmission fluid for many of their transmissions, including the ones in the early Fusions and Milans. Mazda views Mercon V as unacceptable, while Ford sees it as fine. In the long run, I wouldn't risk my transmission for the sake of a few extra dollars.
