TDi's have always had it since I've owned them. Three of my cars have been given away my '96 Passat that I gave away after 397K miles, my '98 Jetta that I gave to a family member who needed a car after 300K, and my '04 Golf which I used daily until recently retiring. Although the car is well-worn, the engine still runs great after 298K miles and I am now using it in retirement as a backup for a 2000 TDi Beetle that has just been broken in with 198K miles. Also, did I mention that all four of them were diesels with oil changes every 10,000 miles? From my small lawn mower to my lawn tractor to my portable generator, I also use the oil in every gasoline engine I own. This should be of some help
I do have that in my possession.
If you are not sure, inquire at the service center where you bought it. A 2014 Ram Ecodiesel was delivered to me that was using Pennzoil before it switched to Shell. Nonetheless, I am not sure to which vehicles the changes apply.
Having a vehicle this old would be a bad idea to run full sync. There is a high probability of leakage from the seals. For your vehicle, I would recommend using a standard conventional oil in the weight prescribed by your vehicle manufacturer. If your Ford is rebuilt with new seals and gaskets installed, any of the modern conventional oils would work fine in it. If it has been rebuilt with synthetic oils, I would suggest you use them. I switched to this Shell Rotella T6 oil after I discovered the oil was leaking more between oil changes when I was using Mobil1. There seem to be a few popular Subaru forums that argue that Mobil1 is too thin and cuts through the turbo seals, which results in excessive oil consumption. I've started using this and have definitely noticed less oil usage since using it.
Although it's marketed as a "HEAVY DUTY DIESEL OIL" but does not ignite as well. Those packages are merely ADDITIVE PACKAGES that are added to this motor oil. Don't be alarmed. typically require a much higher level of lubricity and wear protection than standard gasoline engines (glow plugs, carbon soot, etc) but this oil works like a charm for turbocharged engines. The 5W aren't important - don't worry about them There is no need to designate a 40 oil grade designation since the oil behaves more like a "0-" I recommend Mobil 1 0W-40 oil in my Saab and other upgraded turbocharged vehicles because that is what the factory specs require It could be 30 or 0- In (40). It seems to me that Mobil 1 0W - In the recession and early 21st century, 30/40 oils are pure automobile politics due to GM destroying Saab, leaving loyal enthusiasts with a tragic turn of events. To cut a long story short, you won't find other 5W products Since the oil is uncommon but has a broader range of applications for a wide variety of conditions (extreme cold, extreme heat, etc), it has a broader range of applications. My Saab 9 - Stg 3 - was purchased in 1977 The following are three (2). I only use this oil for oil changes and it is 0T Aero. On the forum known as Bob is the oil guy, also known as BITOG (only source where diehard oil enthusiasts tested oils and even offered oil analysis results, as from Blackstone Labs), Shell Rotella T6, Techron, and MMO all received prominent praises These brands are definitely doing something right if they can be tested to verify their results. As a result How you can prolong the lifespan of your special turbocharged cars and minimize engine problems in the future The combination of a bottle of Shell Rotella in your crankcase and a bottle of Techron Fuel System cleaner will keep that pesky overcharging mechanic at bay! Furthermore, if your engine is giving you more power and is smoother then that shows that it is happiest. Shell Rotell is a great app to try out. There are only one or two oils that I'd recommend, the German Castrol aka GC, which are oils made in Germany and are far superior to the Castrol oils we get here (I have confirmed that those formulations are different from what we get from Castrol GMBH). The best fluids for the best cars belong to Europe, while here we have to settle for less. LOL at Autozone.
Having used this full synthetic oil in my Ford 7 for many years, I find it to be very effective. The engine is a 3-liter turbocharged The diesel engine. Each time I change it, I change between 5,000 and 10,000 characters The tires can be changed every 6,000 miles and you never have to add any in between. The engine still runs well after more than 300,000 miles, and the chassis is still in great condition.
Currently, I'm using it in my Honda 250L. *I have a couple of problems, though. Compared to other leading motorcycle oils, it is less expensive. Oil needs to be changed every 1 to 2 months. It's possible to hike 200 miles without going broke. ** 1. These oils are designed to meet the motorcycle oil standards as well as those used on wet plates. 1. 2. 3. The reasonable cost of changing the oil on schedule ensures that you will do it. It is no longer necessary to increase the mileage of the oil by a few hundred miles Five points. Cold weather makes it easy for the engine to start. This is 5. I have never understood why the engine is so smooth at highway speeds with very little vibration (I still do not get it). The seventh point. The same amount of top motorcycle oil would cost more than $120 per quart when purchased from Amazon, but you can buy a 3 gallon carton for $70. This is 8. Unlike conventional oils, it is fully synthetic. If you can get this for almost the same price as mineral oil, why buy mineral oil at all?

11 A motorcycle transmission that uses this oil is much smoother. Shifts are now smoother without clunking. The negatives are This is a. There will not be quite as fast of a wrap-up with this oil, but it will be a much smoother one. ** 1. This oil compares favorably to sixty dollar motorcycle oils. Its performance is just slightly below that of the most expensive motorcycle oils. 1. 2. 3. You should buy expensive motorcycle oil if you are a racer. A motorcycle oil that is the best can't be bought if you can't find I should note It is an unusual oil for the following reasons As sticky as Sirup, yet as liquid as Mercury, this oil flows like honey.
issue is not with the oil itself, but with Amazon's misleading listing of the product. While filling out the rebate form, I see that the rebate for this product is not applicable. After purchasing it as seen on the Amazon website with the $14 rebate, I had to return it. In the form, there is a $7 discount off each bottle (up to two per household), and it says, "All case purchases of any size of qualifying product do not qualify for this offer. " The statement is misleading.
The oil has been used for 12 years in 5 motorcycles and 3 cars, from 400cc thumpers to 800cc V4 motorcycles, a 2002 Honda Accord with over 200,000 miles and a 2014 BMW 335d (diesel) for over In all of them, I have never encountered an engine problem. Whenever there are leaks, they are totally avoided. Since I changed their oil, I've noticed a noticeable difference in how smoothly my motorcycles ran and shifted. It's nearly always at a reasonable price, and since the temperature doesn't go below the limit, it's not bad at all, unless you're dropping temperatures below the stated temperature limit. The lowest temperature I've encountered was zero I love it.
In my 6, this is the only oil I use. I have a Powerstroke 7. I have been using it since I changed the oil (5000 miles ago) and I change the filters every 5k with Motorcraft filters. At this point, I have logged 99,000 miles. There have been no.
For my 2005 F250 Powerstroke, which is driven in Colorado, this is the only product I use. Depending on the weather in the state, the oil will be ideal.
