The 2011 Silverado I purchased new only had 2 miles on it, and I only changed my oil according to the oil life algorithm used by the truck, and I get about 10k-1000 miles out of the truck. We have only used Royal Purple for our oil changes and have driven 12k miles per time. There is no need to change your oil every 3. 5 or RP gives me a quality product to lubricate my engine bearings and give me a long-lasting oil. I do not plan on getting rid of my truck ever and it has 97k on it right now. I only use quality products on my pickup.

The best synthetic oil on the market! Since I started using Royal Purple 5w, I've been feeling much better I have been using the 30 for the full 4 years I have owned my 2008 350Z (purchased locally initially) with great results and have never encountered any My car has run like new even at 120,000 miles despite the oil being a superior one, though I have no scientific evidence to back this up. There would be no vibrations when the engine idled. As soon as I switched to Royal Purple, revving out and doing a full throttle pull was not a concern for me since the engine just sounded so I'm just speaking anecdotally, but for me, at least on that car, this oil is the one I would purchase.
