Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
All R134a is brand new and manufactured in the United States to the highest purity standards. This can be used for recharging 100% R134a air conditioning systems.
NEW GAS - ZeroR gas is never reclaimed or recycled and is always brand new. We buy R134a on a regular basis to ensure that you get the freshest refrigerant possible. If you use old refrigerants, they can rust and cause performance problems.
SSV CANS - Our cans feature a self-sealing valve that complies with 50 state regulations. R134a cans that have been partially used can now be easily stored! Older can taps may not work with this valve type, so you'll need to invest in a ZeroR R134a can tap, which we guarantee will work with all SSV cans.
The EPA's Clean Air Act, Section 612, is followed.
Returns: Because this item is classified as a hazardous material, it cannot be returned. To ship, it is necessary to obtain hazmat certification. Return labels are not provided by Amazon, and the seller will not provide return labels for this type of product. If you require any assistance with the product, please contact the seller.

Questions & Answers

I have a Senville minisplit that runs on R410a. Is this refrigerant suitable for it, and if not, where can I obtain it?

The refrigerant R410A is unique. To purchase it, you must have an EPA 608 certification. A scale, gauges, and equipment to measure subcooling are required for properly charging a system. If you're only doing one, it might be more cost-effective and convenient to hire someone to charge your system.

Is it possible to use this freon in a window air conditioning unit?

To begin with, it is referred to as refrigerant. The refrigerant Freon is a brand name. Second, every window unit should have a manufacturer's data plate that specifies the refrigerant to use. Mixing refrigerants is not a good idea.

I have a r134a refrigerant dispenser hose and gauge that came with an a/c pro can. Will it fit in these cans because it's threaded?

Thank you for your inquiry. In theory, as long as the threads are R-shaped, everything should be fine. 134a, it should work; however, because it was designed for a specific product rather than a universal tap/gauge, we cannot guarantee that it will.

Is it possible to incorporate this into an R12 system?

If the old R12 is flushed out, you can. After that, you'll need to vacuum, and you'll need to replace the fittings to accept R134.

Selected User Reviews For ZeroR® R134a Refrigerant for MVAC use in a 12oz Self-Sealing Container (3 Pack)

No one seems to get ZeroR, but everyone seems to get National
3/5

The following is a list of the features of their product: BRAND NEW YORK TIMES NEW YORK TIMES TIMES NEW Y In order to meet quality standards, we only ship National 134a or ZeroR brands under this listing. br>Despite this disclaimer, it appears that everyone receives the National brand refrigerant. It's a bit of a letdown because they also mention: **SPECIAL CUSTOMER NOTE** - You must purchase from the following seller (DIY parts) to ensure you receive genuine R134a_ from the ZeroR company. We cannot guarantee that you will receive the high-quality product we offer if you buy from any other third-party sellers. br>As a result, they point you in the direction of their company, indicating that you will receive information from the 'ZeroR company. ' This translates to actual ZeroR canisters being delivered. br>Of course, you're disappointed when you receive the product, National brand, but you decide to use it rather than go through the hassle of returning it and buying something else. Fortunately, it appears to be acceptable and recharges the air conditioning system. However, this does not change the fact that the experience was generally negative. br>If they simply advertised it as selling National brand refrigerant and providing customers with an honest offer, it would most likely receive four or more stars. (Note: Finally, the picture was changed to show National canisters. However, the texts have remained unchanged. )br>Anyway, the product appears to be functional, which is a plus.

I'm four years old! Self-Sealing is not an option! "NEW GAS - DiY Parts" says DiY Parts
3/5

We buy R134a on a regular basis to ensure that you get the freshest refrigerant possible. If there is any moisture present, old refrigerants can rust, which is harmful to your air conditioning system. "br>br>The R134a we got from Chemours (not ZeroR) was four years old and had rust on the tops of the cans. Furthermore, the cans are not self-sealing, as they claim to be. I will not be buying anything else from this shady company in the future. THERE ARE NO STARS ON THIS PAGE.

This is a deceptive advertisement

10 I get a brand I've never heard of, and when I use one of the cans, instead of getting colder, it gets warmer.

You will receive the "National" brand, not the one shown
3/5

I'm not sure whether it matters. I couldn't wait any longer and went to the auto parts store, so these "National" Brand cans have yet to be used. I'm not a fan of bait and switch tactics. Send me what you see and describe. Instructions said to buy from Diy or something, which I did, but I still received a different brand. I tried to return it, but it said I couldn't because it was hazardous or something. What method did you use to deliver it to me, then? Avoid this listing and instead go to an auto parts store. You will pay a higher price, but you will know exactly what you are getting.

For self-sealing cans, there is no core charge! They were successful
5/5

I put the can on a scale, zeroed it, and then charged my system. The scale had dropped to a negative 12 ounces. The weight of each of the three cans was the same (14. 8oz) when I first started, indicating that there is enough refrigerant in the system. It works because the ac gets cold. It's a great deal at $10 per can when you buy three (3 packs $30) or six (6 packs $40). At the auto parts store, it's $10 per can, plus a $10 core charge, which you get back if you return the cans within 90 days. On Amazon, there is no core charge for self-sealing cans.

In place of ZeroR, it's National
3/5

Product was not as described in advertisement and 2 were defective out of 3, and seller also charges 20% restocking fee and return shipping fee for returns.

If you don't want to be nearly blinded or injured, don't use this product! This product was defective; two of the three cans had been tweeked, causing the tap to be on cockeyed no matter how carefully you screwed it on
3/5

Then the cans leaked and only a small amount of gas was charged into the system; my hand would have been frostbitten if I hadn't worn gloves. The cans appeared to be several years older than they actually were. On the can, there are no user-friendly recommendations. Using a scale to weigh all three cans, they were all different weights (just cans), ranging from 469 grams to 440 grams minus 340 grams equal to 12 oz. Should I receive a refund or premium brand r134a refrigerant gas cans?.
