I'm not familiar, but Preston's a well known product supplier, so it gives me piece of mind.

I have a small leak in either the radiator or the hose, this will do no harm and I have nothing to lose by putting it in the radiator, is that right?

There's no harm in trying, and you might stop a small leak with it.

How do I get this stuff to work if I don't have the heater on?

When you want to stop the leak in a heater core, you can do that.

Very quick and easy to use! You can read about my experience with it here. There's no doubt about *DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU - COMPLETE CARE OF PRESTIGE AS195 and STOP leaks There are 22 ounces in the package. I noticed that my car smelled of coolant, that the windshield had residue on it that was hard to remove, and that the windshield occasionally fogged up. In the recent past, it became extremely uncomfortable every time the AC was shut Strong, unhealthy smell of coolant in the car, lots of steam on the windshield. As I read about it, I found out that the heater core should work and the stop leak should work as well. Although it did work, there were some problems. This is 1. I purchased a turkey baster to drain any coolant from the bottle so the Stop Leak bottle could go My Buick LeSabre radiator has fins that reach all the way to the top, but I didn't know this. 2. *br *br Only one third of the bottle made it in when I tried to take out everything I could. 3
3. After you put the radiator cap back on, you should run the engine for a minute to circulate the coolant. 4

When I used the turkey baster again, I filled it up and used the Stop Leak The bottle had a third left in it, though. This is 5. Turning on the engine and taking off the cap was the last thing on my mind. to use when starting from scratch. after the car gets hot, the coolant doesn't circulate until the thermostat opens up. I miss my old Malibu (in contrast to what it used to do). Having put the last of the Stop Leak in the Reserve Bottle, I now have everything on hand. That would have been the right thing to do from the start. This is six. I noticed that the car smelt no cooler, and there was no steam on the windshield when I started driving with the heater on! Then, I didn't even have to fill the bottle with the solution, it worked immediately. Updating* 3 months after the original cleaning, the smell came back a bit and the windshield fogged up occasionally, but the problem is 90% fixed.

It has always been a pleasure to work with The Ford Explorer I own was built in 2003 and I've kept it up by doing more maintenance than it As fluids degrade over time, I like to drain the antifreeze out and dispose of it in the appropriate manner

In case there is a leak I don't see while replacing the hoses, flush it out and use Preston Complete Care and Stop Leak for just a few seconds. In order to protect the cooling system, Preston should be added back in.

The usual thing for me is to write rave reviews, but this time I had to do it the other way around. Unfortunately, through Prestone does make a lot of good products, it doesn't work with my engine block leak on a 40 year old car.
I have a leaky engine block on a 40 year old car, and the BarsLeaks works great. After doing a search for Prestone Super Radiator Anti-Static Spray, one day I also recommend Rust (AS170Y) (which works just It looks so similar to this stuff, that I clicked it without intending to. It makes sense to go ahead with it because I was going to need some more stop leak anyway. I was near overheating within DAYS of this and it didn't stop my leaks, it plugged everything and I nearly suffered from leaks! Therefore, I flushed out the system and once again tried the stuff, thinking it might have just been a coincidence. I'm not interested. I nearly stalled on the freeway because it still clogged up the system. It's great to have the regular Prestone anti-fungicide in the house There is a freeze and their antifreeze I thought it would help with rust, but it doesn't work as well as $3 BarsLeaks anti-rust In fact, it makes matters worse because it leaks stuff.

The intake gasket antifreeze leak in my engine was fixed as soon as I installed the seal. Nothing ever leaked from it Excellent service! I would definitely use them.
