A shelf life for oil is something I've never heard of before. It's probably fine; I bought new penzoil and noticed a lot of sediment at the bottom of the container after pouring it into my engine. I posted some photos as well as a review. Penzoil isn't something I'd recommend.

This product appeals to me because the molecules are constructed rather than refined. As a result, the molecules become more uniform, resulting in improved lubrication. It is also affordable. I'm sorry for being a nerd, but I'm a chemist.

I'd always driven a used car or truck up until now. Unknown oil brands were used, as well as whatever was on sale. I've discovered a new favorite oil store. This synthetic oil, as well as the brand, has my trust. With continued use, it always protects engine components and removes sludge, which is a fantastic benefit. I used it on a used Mazda 5 and after a few hundred miles since it cleaned up the sludge, the engine feels much smoother and the power has returned. I normally get 28 MPG, but with this oil, I only get 25-28 MPG. 26MPG. I believe I drive in a similar manner, travel similar distances, and use the same gas and fill it up from the same location, so I believe it's because the engine oil creates more resistance than the mobil1. br>Next time, I'll probably return to Mobil1 to see if my MPG improves. br>I'd still suggest it to others.

When I can't get Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, I use this as a backup. Ultra Platinum is my preferred oil, based on the results of various oil analyses performed on my five cars. br>br>This comes in second! The wear numbers are low, and the oil will last for up to ten miles! But, in any case, I usually switch after 7500 days or one year.
