Questions & Answers

What is the group IV oil in this container?

I believe it is from The following is a direct response Using a number of high quality synthetic base oils, we formulate products that deliver excellent performance at high levels. Castrol Edge 0W-Group IV is the base oil we use to formulate our products There is a formulation 40. My email directed them to the Amazon link for THIS oil, and that's what they replied with. For your information, I’m using it in my E92 BMW M3.

Can Amazon motor oil be used as a paint remover?

A little over 25% of this Castrol oil is made up of PAO. A complete breakdown can be found in the MSDS.

Does this truly contain 100% synthetic fibers, or is it blended with synthetic fibers? - If it is a fully synthetic substance Castrol Edge Extended Performance 0W-90 is a good choice because it's reliable, durable and long-lasting ?

Astrol is the manufacturer of the oil, and we won the right in court to refer to it as synthetic, even though chemically it is not, Crude oil with wax added to it. It's far cheaper to use natural molecules to produce synthetic oil rather than building them artificially. Using crude oil as the base material is not a good idea. As soon as this happened, the other manufacturers did the same since they could not compete on price. This resulted in what was a chemical term (synthetic oil) becoming a marketing If you look at the technical data sheets of Red Line oil against Castrol or other leading brands, you will notice some big differences. The blends of Castrol and Mobil 1 consist of two or three different groups of base stock oils, the ratio of which is a secret. This is not the best synthetic product on the market, but it is a good oil nonetheless. As a comparison, it is like comparing blended and single malt scotch The law permits Scotch Whisky distilled in both countries, but there is a difference in the content of the bottle and the cost involved in producing what is

How can we tell if this is a wet clutch? Do you think this might fit in an Arctic Cat 400 from 2005?

In analyzing this oil, which is virgin oil, I found there was no moly present at all. When a wet clutch system malfunctions, it is most likely due to molybdenum. For the past few weeks I have been using I use a 30 in my wet clutch motorcycle and it performs extremely Castrol 0-F is the product formulation In a 30 or 0 It appears 40 is very close to the viscosity, outside of that. 0 is the zero A weight of 30 is considered a heavy weight, whereas a weight of 0 is considered light Those with a weight of 40 are considered to be of a "light" In my wet clutch applications, I would use this oil.

I really like the way this oil performs in my 2017 Toyota Corolla
5/5

The newer Toyotas will run for at least 10K miles between oil changes when they run synthetic oils. To some degree, I still want it to be in the range of A fifth of a million This is the first car I have owned that required a synthetic oil of 0W20. Throughout the years, Castrol has always been a great brand for me. It is great to use this synthetic oil. There is a little bit less noise, and the oil comes out of the engine as oil rather than water viscosity after five thousand miles. The following changes have been made to the December 24, 2018 version There was a third-party test done by Amsoil on several oil brands to compare their level of TBN against theirs. It comes in second place in that test, beating my other favorite oil, Mobil 1. A higher TBN number indicates the oil is better at combating corrosion that is found in the engine. Castrol EDGE came in second place in that test, beating The Castrol Edge team took every score from the competition in the TEOST test. Thermoplastic TEOST sands for Thermoplastic Test for oxidation engine oil. . . this is a durable test that evaluates how the oil will perform The first EP version of Mobile 1 came in next to last.

A BMW engine oil that is right for the job
5/5

For my BMW 330i, I use this oil only. The picture shows that the car has over 223,000 miles on it (the picture shows kilometers) and I am the only owner. Despite normal maintenance and cover and pan gaskets, the engine in my car still runs as smooth and strong as it did the first time I drove it. Onboard maintenance computer indicates I should change oil every 3,000 miles and I recently did this, but I've never used another oil other than this and Castrol 0W-90. The 30-point formula for the European Union. The oil is right for extended oil change intervals and it meets the BMW Long Life 01 spec. When it comes to keeping your BMW engine in great shape, there is no better place to shop.

DO NOT BE CAUGHT UP
5/5

Still meets BMW LL O1 spec by January 1, 2019! Powered by a N63 engine, twin turbo V8, this is what I use in my 2015 BMW F12. In January, Castrol supplied BMW with the same oil under spec Longlife 01 as it did prior to January. An official at Castrol told Reuters the oil, Edge 0W 40, European formula, remains approved for use in BMW gas engines built from January 2019 forward, except M models even though the BMW spec is no longer on The BMW engine oil specification has been updated for engines built after December. For that reason, if your BMW was built before that date, this oil is still compatible with the engine. As you can see, Castrol has not changed their product in such a way that would cause it not to meet the Longlife 01 standard. The update took place before.

0W- for sale, good, cheap An oil with an API number of 20
5/5

had decided that I was tired of having the oil changed in the dealer's Subaru Impreza at some point in the past year. Thank you very much, my certified used car check), I vow that I will take care of the oil changes on my own car and see if I have any oil consumption issues. In light of the attractive price point, I naturally chose this oil first. In regards to this oil, I can list the following pros and cons There are several pros to this I'm sure you know this! I find the price to be great especially for the Besides Wal-Mart, it's carried by a number of other stores It's the same price but other than that it's There are still challenges in finding 20 - The oil I use on my car is changed every 5,000 miles Five hours a day) at high speeds (75 It's not hard for me to tell when the oil is low or needs changing in my beloved Subaru. The 5,000 mile mark tends to be the mark. With the price you're offering, I don't think twice about it. In spite of my aggressive driving style and my nasty commute, this oil holds up well with very minimal loss after It is normal for me to add a little oil around the 3,000 mile mark, but nothing out of the ordinary. The fact that Wal Mart carries it, even though I order mine from Amazon, is convenient for me. There was one instance when I had to add too little oil and I could tell my Subaru was dragging It was no issue for me to pull over and get a quart from Wal Mart, top it off, then continue my drive

Cons I'm sure you know this! I am trying my best to guess the amount of oil left in the container in my dark garage, but it is difficult to estimate the volume This review will be updated when I replace my current oil with a more expensive product if I determine that it is significantly better than Castrol's brand. I have oil from another rival company of Castrol's and the lighter material makes it easier to measure the volume used by the engine. This will perform similarly to the LC50 system at about half the cost.

Update after the use of significantly I'm sure you know this! This is a more expensive version of my A synthetic oil is worth $20 (approximately twice as much as As far as performance is concerned, I noticed no change. I did not notice a difference between the cheaper Castrol oil and the more expensive stuff in the Subaru's oil consumption. Subarus burn more oil than other vehicles, but I did not notice any difference in how much oil this Castrol oil burned. Since I switched to this oil permanently, I have not looked back.

That is the best one The car is The following viscosity is required for the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport It 0W * 20 miles After 7500 miles of driving, I changed my oil for the first time around 3000 miles ago using Amazon Basics 0W-35 The oil filter from Nissan OEM is included in the price of $20 for 5 Qts
5/5

The difference and improvement seemed to be minimal. At 7500, I decided to go with something a little better and found Castrol Edge 0W-90. A Bosch filter is included with the 20 for $28. As far as I'm concerned, oil is oil and shouldn't matter what the brand The mistake I made was mine. It only took a short period of time for me to feel the difference my car is faster, smoother, and quieter with Castrol, and It's not a good idea to try to save $10 by buying cheap product, even if it's from Amazon, keep in mind that Amazon does not produce anything. They are resellers, and the quality is not always excellent. Make sure you choose dependable brands, because oil prices are higher now and what's more important - the price of the oil. The saving is $10 or $300 What are the problems with the 600-dollar engine? Whenever I need engine oil, I'm going to use Castrol or other brands that actually make good engine oils. In addition to using Amazon oil in the Civic and Odyssey, I also used it in my 17 Civic as well. I feel facepalming.
