When you brake hard, and you put the pedal to the floor, that's a bad experience. The stock fluid will boil if you press it hard, but this will hold up. In my opinion, there is one fluid that is better (Castrol) but it is considerably more expensive. If you are planning to attend your first track day (HPDE, etc. ) with this fluid, flush it out beforehand. Your tummy will thank you if you bleed it after every track day!.
Every event is flushed, and there is little fade on the brake pedal. Stoptech ST40 is the software I'm running on my S2000. The master cylinder of my brakes has recently been replaced. There are about 110,000 miles on my car, and I want the pedal to feel consistent. For a total flushing out of the system, I used two bottles. During installation, I performed a bench bleed on the master. There is only a small amount of bubbles in all the clear liquid. It does not have any air in it.
Great company and product. You should use DOT4 brake fluid that you trust. There are likely to be equivalents, but this is the one I use. Whenever I use it, I never have problems. Change your brake fluid annually for your safety. This is something I shouldn't have to mention for anyone reading this review, but for the sake of safety, it has to be said. Over time, it will lose its efficacy because it is hydrophilic. The easy solution to preventing brake failure is to replace the fluid on a regular basis.
I've been using this track day fluid with my 1997 Mazda Miata for years. Though it absorbs water quite quickly, so flush it frequently to keep it from clogging. However, I flush every three months during track season and seem to be able to maintain a healthy pH level.
It is brake fluid at the end of the day. That's all there is to In addition to removing my ABS system, upgrading the brakes and rotors, replacing all stainless lines, and running crappy brake fluid, why would I do all this? It's a bummer. Running this is what you do when you need the best.
Usually found in RX-type devices In addition to autocrossing and track days, a lot of track days are held here. used this and 660 brake fluid for quite some time now and have never experienced a boil or any other issue with them. This is a highly recommended book.
On my S13 Silvia, I performed a Z32 brake conversion, and the fluid performed well. We took it out to the track and found that it brakes consistently and firmly.
Among the best track cars are those made by Motul.
