Is this safe to use as a low viscosity dot 4 fluid in my 12 BMW R1200R?

During my time on the Vespa, it was very useful. like a charm. Are you just topping off or are you doing a full A complete refill and top-off would be fine for me. I'd stay with BMW fluid to be as safe as possible.

They are just as good as any others No matter what type of DOT 5 you use, this fluid will work as well

As far as I can tell, this is the best bang for your buck dot 5 according to my research in early 2021. We are dealing with one In addition to replacing your 4, you can also add another 2. It will work with dot 1 or dot 3 fluid as well. It is possible to buy higher-quality stuff, but it is much more expensive.
