As for my 2014 Harley, it's the same one I use. There is a DOT 4 brake fluid in this bottle. Consult your manual to ensure you are using the DOT 5 has been used on Harleys since 2006, and some bikes earlier than that use it.
In this case, you are able to use any brand of brake fluid as long as your vehicle takes DOT 3 or DOT 4. would choose Ford's original brake fluid, however, if it is similar in price to many of the others then it might be best to go with that, since the vehicle came with it
As best I can tell, I bought the DOT 4 and it did well down to -19 I took this system to extremes in two different bikes (Ural Patrol and BMW R100RS) the next summer and had no issues. I use the right DOT number for my system as long as I use the right fluid.
There are usually three dots on a car when it comes to dot 4

I found this to be the cheapest on this site. It took a bit of fluid to turn off the idiot light on my dashboard. Essentially, it did what it was supposed to do. However, it didn't solve the problem of the idiot who was behind the wheel.
I am not at all against them because of my own acts. The only place we go for all of our needs is LUCAS as it's who we turn to for everything car related. I will now use it as weed killer since I'm not going to be able to use the rest. There was only one little issue the bottles had leaked out only half way, which was not a big deal, though depending on how long it stays in the package, it might leak even.
There are two types of brake fluid those that work and those that don't. The Lucas Oil brand is not particularly unique, but I have purchased other Lucas Oil products and been very satisfied with them. DOT4 is compatible with DOT3 already in my system, which means that this brake fluid can be used in combination with it. In order to bench bleed the master cylinder and scrub the rest of the system after swapping master cylinders on my old Pontiac, this 12oz bottle lasted me about 40 minutes. There was no complete fluid replacement on my part. It took me about an ounce to finish the remaining product. Still, the car stops, so I suppose that it is.
I did all the brake flushing and refreshing on my 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 with about a third of the bottle. The fluid is definitely an improvement over the stock fluid from the.
There is no better alternative than DOT 4. YouTube videos about it all proved it to be true, as I found out. My Honda Odyssey has been equipped with this DOT4 instead of its old DOT3. My brake pedal feels less spongy and I notice that the brakes stop faster. According to them, it also works better in the As for that, I cannot speak for anyone but myself, but I see a significant improvement in.
Obviously, I chose this brand because of the trust I place in Lucas. It has proven to be superb. Since it would be silly to claim otherwise, I'll leave it at that, but it works well, and I like the consistency of buying all the fluids in my motorcycle from the same brand.
I replaced the brake system fluid after performing a brake system flush on my 2015 WRX. I used approximately 1 and 3/4 bottles to cover the entire service. The fluid on this vehicle does not loose performance under heavy braking or frequent braking when it is driven for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. The vehicle is used for daily driving and the occasional spirited run.
I can't provide a rating for this other than Lucas is a trusted brand, and the brake fluid is effective and works well in my Harley-Davidson.
