On my 2004 Honda Accord EXL, I had to replace the power steering pump because it was worn out and leaking after 260, 000 miles. If you have a Honda, it's critical to purchase genuine Honda spec Power Steering Fluid. This is it, and it worked great to do a double flush and then top off, as I blew the air out of the line, as I topped off, as I turned the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right, three cycles of that, bleeding air and poser staring fluid, and I had full power steering and no drag. I had a few bottles left over, so I kept one in the trunk and gave the others to my main mechanic.
On turns, there is a lot of noise coming from the belt, tensioner, and a Power Steering pump. br>br>Vacuumed out dirty sludge, replaced on quart, and vacuumed out dirty fluid a second time. br>I did it three times (too much), but it's my wife's car! br>br>After three flushes, the fluid has remained clear and there are no noises! br>New serpentine belt and belt tensioner!br>Happy wife, happy life!.
Honda Pilot will love it. In 2006, I used eight of these to flush the system, and it worked like new again. There will be no more symptoms of sluggish system failure. Six were used to flush and drain the system, while two were used to fill it. The power steering on my Honda was as good as new! The same thing was done to a Honda Acura TL 2005 and the results were the same! Both cars had 190,000 miles on them. It was not necessary to replace any of the pumps. Repair is simple and inexpensive. It's a lot less expensive than going to a Honda dealership. Get rid of what's no longer useful. Fill with two new pints after flushing and filling twice.
It's an official Honda part. It was packaged in an insulating box for shipping. It arrived in good condition, consistent with Honda's reputation for excellence. br>I will most definitely be ordering those again in the near future. Honda is one of my favorite automobile companies.
In the past, I had used a different brand. My power steering pump began to howl and whine, indicating that the manual's warning about not using other fluids is accurate. I'll get this OEM fluid to replace it as soon as possible.
I made the mistake of using non-OEM PSF in my Honda, and this was an excellent purchase to get rid of all the cheap junk.
The entire package arrived in good condition and was sealed with the Honda logo on the org package.
