According to SeaStar, you must use it in their system (I'm sure some aspect of it makes it so special and so expensive. I took advantage of it because it was not that expensive to justify using something else, and because it would put me at risk of losing my steering. In the end, I bought 2 quarts and used them both (I had about 25 feet of lines, a helm, and a cylinder) all empty, so it used up quite a bit. The world is a good place. I am content.
