Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the SL 6 and the type 200 How does the difference between them differ?

Hello Ray,*br>These fluids are different from one another. SL6 is a low viscosity fluid for cars with electronic brake systems, and Type 200 is a high performance fluid that is referred to as a replacement for regular DOT 4. As a general rule, SL6 Specs are The following is the dry boiling point Two hundred and sixty-five degrees. It is 509 degrees Celsius (461.4 This is a). The boiling point of water is The temperature should be 170 degrees. Three hundred eighty- eight degrees C (338 degree. This is a). There are two types of specification in the DOT 4 The following is the dry boiling point The angle is 280 degrees. This is a). The boiling point of water is At 198 degrees, 89% of the population is asleep. Temperature 388 F This is a). Could you tell me where I can get blue color dots4?

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the blue DOT 4 is no longer available in the U.S. Also, the DOT has taken it off the list. If you would like the same spec's as the Super Blue, you will need to use the ATE Typ 200, which is gold in color but has the same specs as the Super Blue. In this case, is the moisture absorbtion rate slower than that of a conventional What's the difference between this and typical dot 4? Does it lubricate better?

This product has a slightly lower moisture absorption rate and a recommended 2 year replacement cycle, and surpasses most DOT 4 performance requirements. "Lubricate better" because it has a low viscosity at 700mm2/s (thin), so it is ideal for cars equipped with anti-lock braking systems There are tiny valves or mechanisms in the ABS unit that can lock the braking system (ABS). The typical brake fluid has a viscosity nearly double that of this, however, it still maintains a high minimum boiling point of 265C (175C when A highline vehicle manufactured in Europe comes with ATE fluid as standard.

A car with an onboard computer is suitable for using this, it is structured to be used with a vehicle that has an on-board computer The vehicle is equipped with an electronic braking system, called an ABS. used to use ATE 200, which is the equivalent of using dot4, but the older ATE 200/dot4 fluid seemed to spike the on-road temperatures As soon as my board electronic braking system engaged on my 07 Volvo x70, it was very clunky. Every time the on-board computers started acting up, it was like I was trying to stop a tank As a result of this, the electronic braking system on the board As a matter of fact, I decided to try this new brake fluid when I was doing my regular 24 month maintenance, which includes transmission, power steer and brake fluid flushes. It is great that I did because I am now in good hands with this It seems that the automatic on-demand model for dot4+ fluid is made by 6/dot4+ Using the on-board electronic braking system on my 2007 Volvo x70 has made it much smoother, so much so that the clunkiness I felt when using the older ATE 200/DOT4 fluid has completely disappeared when using the on-board electronic braking system It was now that my 2007 Volvo X70 engaged the board-mounted electronic braking system.

Fluids that are the right choice for today's It was a little surprising to me that this new ATE fluid was so reliable, but I was hesitant to switch from my ATE Type 200
5/5

According to some BMW experts (for real experts), it is best to stay with this new fluid for the most recent vehicles because some of the brake control systems have narrow passages. Only if you are running the car on a racetrack needs to use a fluid designed for racing. In that case, this is too thin, so you would need to use a fluid designed for racing.

I'm so happy to have access to this stuff

ATE, thanks for your help! My 2008 Mazda CX-9 has this in it NHSTA has investigated the problems with brakes in the vehicle 9 (see table 1). While there have been many attempts to implement econo DOT, My pedal was soft even after receiving new brake fluid, a new master cylinder, new brake lines, a new ABS module, and a new booster from the dealer. It was amazing to see the difference after I bled the brakes with this fluid (persuant to the manual, not with a power bleeder). My old fluid might even be in there still (I'm not even sure I got it all You can look forward to a more confident feeling when using In this car, the contact between the brakes and myself is more direct, but reassuring than before. I really like this. The new fluid will not change the pedal feel, and people who claim that the new fluid will not change the pedal feel should not be listened to. My fluid had been changed, but my run-in procedure was just basic It consists of Dot mill - Upgrades of this nature are most welcome. The idea that my brakes feel as they should is a bit hard for me to accept, and I still fear pushing the pedal and finding it to be soft. I was able to keep my car running with this stuff. It is worth noting that I have not had an opportunity to feel the ABS in It is somewhat more difficult to do that when the roads are dry in California. The following are a few PRO TIPS Putting the collection container in the water before bleeding completely submerges the end of the tube. It is also important to make sure the tube begins at the bleeder nipple and then slopes You can prevent bubbles from returning to the air by following these tips. (Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations, even if you don't agree). You may be interested to know that I have not purchased this stuff on It was a totally different fluid that I received from the company that sold the item on Amazon. It is important to ensure you are receiving the right product. Many scammers want you to ignore the fact that the item you received is different, or that you will not send it back.

The reason I've used ATE Super Blue and Gold for years is that when the color changes you can be Since the DOT has standardized the color of brake fluid to be clear or gold, I did a little research starting in the owner's manual and was surprised to find it recommended a fluid with a low viscosity to keep up with the ABS and stability control. I flush the fluid in my car every three years after it has 190K miles on it. In spite of the incorrect fluid, I have had no problems, and I still use all the original components, including the Low viscosity fluids do not seem to make a difference to me, but it is what the factory suggests.

The product did not disappoint
5/5

I used it to flush the brake system on my VW Jetta after changing the rear pads and rotors. I'm not racing my car and I still have the stock brakes in the front because there is about 60% pad left on them so this is working as intended. I don't track my car, so the stock brakes in the front are still performing the task it was intended to do. In the future, when I do another system flush, I'm sure to use it again.

It is smart and safe to take this step

The user of this item can use this item as brake fluid in any car using DOT 3 or DOT4 (or earlier). Two of our cars were fitted with new ATE SL brake fluid after the old fluid was purged. The test results show that the new brake fluid has improved braking power and results in shorter stopping times. With lower viscosity than other fluids, this fluid can pass through the smaller openings of modern ABS brake systems more easily, thus providing more responsive and efficient brake performance. Also, it will improve the ABS Brake function of your vehicle, enabling the brake system to pulse more quickly and to stop your vehicle quicker when suddenly braking on slippery Keep in mind that you need to change your vehicle's brake fluid every two years. Changing the brake fluid over the next two years is essential if you have not done so in more than 2 years. When you change the brake fluid, you'll be amazed at how smooth and quick your car stops after having smooth brakes before. If you choose this fluid, you'll also be amazed at how much better your brakes work after you change the fluid.

It is imperative that brake fluid is of a high quality
5/5

I used this fluid with a motive power bleeder setup on my 2006 bmw 330i pre-LCI. There are regulations that do not allow a blue color, but dont worry, what really matters is the chemical ingredients and not the color. You should always check your owner's manual or online database for information on the type of fluid to use.

What is the process? Since it didn't pose any problems to add it to the brake system after it had been flushed out, I am unsure how to review this
