Questions & Answers

Does anyone currently run this on NV4500 for long periods of time? Can it withstand the test of time?

NV4500 is a new product for me. The Tacoma 5 has been using it for over three years now I have not encountered any problems since the first change (now 150K+). There are two important things you need A GL- grade is deserved It isn't on NV's recommended list. Both the Redline website and "Bob is the oil guy" state it isn't recommended. A site called "com" offers a lot of information that can assist you in your decision.

What should I do if the entire contents are not poured in at once? Is there anything special I need to know?

It is necessary to change all of the oil in the transmission to get the maximum benefit from the Red Line. I took three days to get my car ready. It took four quarts to fill it up to the level of the bottom of the fill plug, so I bought four. You can go to the Red Line website to learn what transmission oil is the best for your car and to find out its capacity, so you will know how much oil you need for your transmission.

Could this be used in an auger for a snowblower?

There is no way I can tell. As long as it matches the specifications for the auger's gear box, it should function as normal gear oil would. Consider the GL rating of the snowblower that you are looking for.

Are you sure that this is safe for use in a 2000 Toyota Celica GT?

I agree - The oil I installed for my 2000 Celica GT clutch when it was replaced was this one I selected after extensive research.

Time will tell whether Miracle Oil will work for you In this case, I own a very notchy R154 thrown in with a drag designed There were times when I had to granny shift everywhere (outside of the track, of course), because it would grind like the pedal wasn't all the way in, or synchros, or whatever
5/5

As an original owner, I had no complaints with Mobil 1, the grinding noise was still present but not as pronounced, and the transmission shifted a bit better than prior to using Mobil 1. It was time for the fourth toss and I went to go. There are 10 manual gears in my car, so I decided to add Red Line fluid in the transmission and service it again as I'm doing the transmission It was very hard for me to believe at first. I was very disgruntled, because events were no different from those before. After driving for a couple of hours, I finally made it home It has been sitting for the last three weeks due to rainy weather. The following Monday, I drove it and I was glad I did. He had gotten out of the grind. I agree entirely. Since now I can shift normally, I can even travel on the street with it. This company has certainly converted me to a believer.

Shifting on the 2019 Miata is better than it was from the It took me a while to change the transmission oil on my 2019 Mazda Miata since it had only 12,000 miles on it
5/5

Mazda's manual says to service the car every 2 years/30 thousand miles for "severe" service intervals. As I was changing the engine oil, I decided to change the differential oil (in addition to redline) as well. There is no other way to express my appreciation for this product. I used the 75w90 MT-recommended oil A diagram of the transmission in the manual illustrates page 90. There is a noticeable difference between when the car came from the factory and now. When turning at high rpm, there is essentially no resistance at all It doesn't matter whether the gear is 2 or any other gear. Down shifting while rev matching actually makes my car much more enjoyable to drive. Synchros also operate much more smoothly when downshifting while rev matching. In addition to clearing out the magnetic drain plug, I was also able to prevent damage from break in materials by changing out the fluid. There is no way I can recommend this product enough, and I plan on changing it every 2 years Put aside the recommendations from the factory. All I had to deal with was a pump issue. It would be great if they offered this packaging in a squeeze nozzle format similar to Amsoil. If you have a transmission that uses 75w90, this is the product you need.

A transmission was saved
5/5

I do not mean it in any way! I put about $63 worth of purple goo into this, but it didn't work. The whine started as soon as the engine was started. As I was shopping for rebuild kits, I saw these and I decided to take a chance. It's amazing what a difference there is! As a result, I no longer grind into 4th as I would have in the past, and even the transmission now doesn't whine. The next time I'm building I wouldn't have to drop a tranny and to waste a little less on the Royal Purple (Royal Poop) If that's more your style). Here is where you should go to get gear oil.

A friend of mine bought my old Honda transmission
5/5

The project is a 2000 Honda prelude with 208k miles that I have been running for about 1500 When I bought it, it had been neglected prior to my ownership, and the car had an annoying whine in fourth The problem did not improve after changing the fluid with OEM Honda MTF. My experience with royal purple was much worse than the shift quality. In the beginning, the OEM Honda felt and sounded about the same as the redline. This is not a bad improvement, but it is not awful either. There is a real reward cake after about 400 miles. The top speed was higher in 4th gear and I did not have to turn up the radio, and the 1-speed was faster and smoother than expected There were occasional rough patches in the ground on shift 2, but they were almost always minor. I have driven well over 1500 miles since putting 4th gear in, and I can say it is much quieter. It is still not perfect, but I believe it is Even though this stuff doesn't repair a damaged transmission, it can be used to prolong the life as well as improve the performance of an older.

This is incredible! That is a really good idea! The idea of fancy-dress is one that I am extremely skeptic about Snake oil products manufactured by major automotive manufacturers
5/5

My view is that if a fluid meets the manufacturers' specifications, it should be Having recently changed the oil in my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, I recently changed the transaxle oil-- and the car now has 150K miles. I changed the fluid only because I was going to check the level and it shouldn't take much effort to do so. (The service schedule for this car does not call for fluid changes in the transaxle. In my case I used an off-brand Here's the deal I replaced the transmission immediately with a brand from my local auto parts store, and noticed harsh shifting when shifting up (6 speed transmission). My car is back to smooth shifting now that I drained and replaced it with this. This is even better than it was when I changed it the first time. The belief I hold is - At least with respect to this product.

This oil is excellent! Good luck
5/5

I was elated when I discovered 4 oil on Amazon, as it is very hard to find in local auto parts stores. A lot of great things have been said about the Redline MT-100 on message boards When the time came to replace the oils in my 5 speed Tacoma, I decided that I would have to do it It has been a few years since I brought in my truck for an expensive "4 case change" that included changing out the oils for both the front and rear differentials, the manual transmission, and the As defined by the The GL-5 oil, however, can be found at local auto parts stores, but could not be found at your local tire store There is no oil available for automatic transmissions and transfer cases, likely due to the fact that most people now drive automatics and it may not sell enough to make the stores profitable. As defined by the This type of oil has additives containing sulfur, which eat away at the syncros in the transmission, causing the transmission to When I was driving on the highway, I would notice my transmission would grind from 5th to 4th occasionally. A second problem is that the transmission didn't shift easily into 1st unless I was under five miles per hour. It has been about a month since I installed the Red Line oil in the transmission and transfer case. I've noticed that the transmission now shifts much more smoothly. I can now shift into 1st gear and I can reach 13 to 15 mph. The periodic grind is gone. works nearly as well as it did when it was new at 234k miles!.
