Warner 3- speeds. The letter GL stands for Many older manual transmissions require 4 oil, which is required in many of them. It's in two Jeeps that have Borg-Warner radios in them. Warner 3- I have two different speeds (T- and T-T-T-T-T-T-T- 15 seconds) and it's fantastic. br>br>The specific oil requirements of your manual transmission can be found in your factory service manual. GL- will almost certainly not be used in any car or truck that is older than about 2000. 4 oil. Make sure you do your homework and purchase the right oil. br>br>I use GL-85W90 as my lubricant. Axles are filled with 5 gear oil from WalMart gallon jugs. There is no need for GL- 4 axles in total; GL- 5 is a superior option that is also significantly less expensive. Do your research and read the factory service manual to find out what GL grade of oil and weight your vehicle requires.

This is a GL-certified product. 4 oil. I was having a gl- My vintage VW transaxle has 5 quarts of oil in it. Some say it doesn't matter if it's GL4 or 5, and others say it doesn't matter if it's GL- The sulfur content of 5s is high, which can cause bronze to corrode. In a manual transmission, /yellow metal (syncros). I recently replaced the engine in my Volkswagen Beetle and decided to change the transaxle oil at the same time; I used this product because it's what's called for GL4 of the correct weight. I noticed a significant difference in the way the car shifted, down shifted, and went into gear on my first trip. I like this oil and the effect it had on my car, and I plan to use it again.

Oil of excellent quality at a low cost

For my Toyota pickup, I recently purchased my second gallon of this oil. After rebuilding the w56 transmission in it, I used this oil as a break-in oil. I have about 1500 miles on this break-in oil and will replace it with the same. I'll eventually replace all of this with Redline MT-100. 90, but I wanted to make sure the transmission was completely broken in before investing in the more expensive fluid. This stuff is so good that I'm not sure I'll ever go back to RL oil. The only complaint I have is that it takes a long time to warm up on cold mornings before shifting smoothly in and out of gear. Easy fix: Simply put the transmission in gear and the transfer case in neutral and wait 10 minutes for it to warm up. 15mins. It's not a big deal because I always start my truck in the morning. My transmission is settling in nicely, and the shifts are smooth and free of grinding. There is a slight gear whine, but I'm not sure how much another fluid would help. It is not a noisy environment. It's all there, you can hear it. This fluid is fantastic. It's difficult to beat this deal at this price!.

I installed it in a 1996 Infiniti I30 with a 5-speed manual transmission. So far, I've driven about 100 miles with no issues; I live in Hawaii, where the weather is always warm. br>br>It's great that Amazon Prime is now available in Hawaii. br>br>I bought another jug to put in my 2005 Frontier, which is getting a 6 speed manual transmission. I'll keep you updated on the situation.

It's good to know that GL4 gear oil is still available. After changing the trans lube in my 1994 Geo Tracker, 5 spd 4wd, shifting felt smoother. When pulling in, it is less sticky. The gears are broken. If your transmission has brass syncros, you must use this. GL5 has a tendency to grab harder and shear the soft yellow brass gears over time, whereas GL4 will extend the life of your trans.

This is the oil gear lube that hermtheoverdriveguy recommends using in all older jeep transmissions and transfer cases GL- It's the only thing I use. Where brase and bronz bushings are used, it is referred to as yellow metal friendly.

For np435, this is correct

I've had an np435 swapped into my jeep for a few years now. I've always purchased off-the-shelf gear oil from local auto parts stores, and I've experimented with a variety of viscosities. Never once did I think to myself, "Yes, that's how this tranny should sound and feel. " Synthetics are shifted to the right. However, it does nothing to muffle normal transmission rattles, so it's a complete waste of money. The only other option is to use gl5. Similar to synthetics in terms of shifting and rattling. sucks! I finally found gl4 on the internet and discovered this oil, which is without a doubt the best oil for these transmissions! Much more refined and quieter!.
