Questions & Answers

Mobil 1 advanced full synthetic oil should be changed every how many months? How often should you change your oil? Every 5000 miles or every 10000 miles?

Oil formulated with full synthetics does not break No matter what color you change, it does NOT matter. An additional supplier brainwashed the public with such lies, and Mobil was successful in its lawsuit. There can be a weakening of the filter and an accumulation of dirt due to the use of oil additives. Molybdenum has been added to 1-percent oil Calcium and magnesium (in different ways) lower friction, and calcium and magnesium for cleaning. By formation of metal oxides, boron, zinc, phosphorus or ZDDP can deplete by bonding to metal (less noise and cooler running engines) - Depletion can create calcium deposits on the metal. You now have a reduced amount of protection for This motor oil offers the best price per quart online for $15 (it is common for large companies to offer discounts of $10). A synthetic oil is recommended by the vast majority of car companies. DO NOT EVER use anything but a In the past, Quaker State (PA) was the best, but now it isn't even from Quaker State (PA). There is less chance of coming into contact with sludge when using synthetic oil, it is thinner, it resists temperature extremes, and it If you change your oil once a year (or more), you can really enjoy your car. Ignoring the problem and doing it more frequently is a waste of money. Oils with mileage of 20,000 miles can claim this because most of the miles are highway miles (which is fairly typical) and the wear rate at 65 miles per hour is only one tenth of the rate of stop and go in cities. In this case, driving 20,000 miles a year puts LESS strain on your engine than driving 4,000 miles a year. As the vehicle reached 120,000 miles under intense dyno testing, changing the oil every 20,000 miles, varnish, sludge, and deposits were analyzed, and the oils were tested for minerals and viscosity every 5,000 miles. Such tests confirm nothing is wrong, and this is a standard industry test. For a Chevy Silverado, Mobil did this for HALF A MILLION highway miles, changing the oil every 20,000 miles and maintaining a perfectly good engine (the transmission lasted 300,000 A taxi company operated by Mobile has also operated NYC cabs for 15 years without changing the oil around 20,000 miles. Tests were also conducted on changing the filters at 20,000 miles, and they found that if they used a better gasket material on the top filters (the difference between an M1-based gasket and an M2-based gasket), the filters held up as well. A M1A1 and a 110 Filter 110A). Therefore, it is important to use an oil filter that is matched to the type of oil you are using (e.g., a M1-filter). In addition to being the most efficient filter, the 110A is also the There is no need to believe people based on info from the 20th century about conventional oils breaking down (unlike synthetic ones, conventional oils do break down), or how quickly they do so. There are still people in this world who use paper maps and use The weight and efficiency of synthetics can easily be verified by looking them up online. Synthetics produce less resistance in the engine and produce more power. A coolant called oil is used to cool your engine. In motorcycles in particular, engine requirements today are greater than can be met with conventional oils. A synthetic's higher temperature performance is a crucial factor when using it in air-conditioning With their wide temperature fluctuations, cooled machines produce a wider range of temperatures. There is no difference between motorcycle and automotive oil in terms of base oil. In the case of motorcycles, the only difference is the additives. In addition to Castrol Acteveo, Lucas HP, Royal Purple, Shell Rotella T6, and Polaris VES, there are many other good companies. Mobil, on the other hand, has the best coupons and so is much cheaper. If you use a coupon for $15, the cost is The average Tucson driver used to drive 15,000 miles a year (10,000 in Tucson), and the elderly drove half of that amount. since more people are using Amazon (etc), this number has fallen by a third. This is why electric vehicles are very bad If the vehicles are brand new, they will need to drive double the number of miles to ever make up for the DOUBLE carbon footprint. My job requires me to drive 4,000 miles a year as a senior living in Tucson. Since I change my oil once a year, I recommend doing the same. Because you only have to apply for a Mobil oil (and filter) coupon once a year, this works out quite well. Yes, I do! Engines used to be designed for 100k miles, but these days range from 400k to 600k. You will cut the life of the engine in half if you do this wrong. Nobody has owned an automobile for more than 200K miles, so I don't really worry about it.

The 25 dollars I paid in December was for a 5qt bottle. Now, it costs $45 for the same bottle that cost 47. Could anyone give me an explanation as to ?

The term "full" synthetic motor oil does not put any pressure on the motor oil, because it doesn't actually contain any synthetics. Although it is highly refined motor oil, crude oil remains its main source. If you need a 100 percent synthetic motor oil, its bottle will say so (pay attention to our 100% synthetic wording) and it will cost you approximately Among the items that Walmart and such sell are both the lower-priced ones as well as the higher-priced ones It is true synthetic stuff that costs so much. The product is just glorified motor oil that MOBI is marketing in a different way. It is a better choice than standard oil, but it is still sourced from the ground, and NOT 100% synthetic. Do some YouTube searches and you will see for yourself. It is fine to be hyped up, but don't get caught up in it. In reality, this is a scam because you are being misled into thinking it is the real deal.

Do you think it's safe to use on a lawn mower that came with an "SAE 30 small engine motor oil"?

This is a fact Briggs and Stratton has a reputation for quality As of now, I recommend 5-speed stratons for my riding mowers It consists of 30 minutes and 15 minutes My personal experience has been that I have been consuming less oil! A weed eater is not suitable for use. As the engine warms up, you get oil over all areas, as opposed to 30w which is what it turns into at first. My knowledge does not extend to smaller, push or AWD mowers (with a smaller engine). Additionally, it seems to not break down as quickly as regular oil any more A black background appears. I find it worth the extra cost if the synthetic version is available. Also, I regularly use Sea Foam to clean the fuel lines, and I put it into the engine oil before changing the oil. Removes dirt and debris from the

i don't have a problem with oil leaking from my Nissan Murano 2010. I have 80k miles on it. Does this oil still work for me? Could you please tell me if this version is "mobil1 extended performance"?

There's no right or wrong answer. There are less are more things in life. I'm not sure if it's the seal conditioner additive that explains the difference between the extended performance and the standard mobil 1. As for the 2008 Pathfinder V8, I did not have any issues with oil leaks and it works beautifully. About 90K of the mileage on it was when I converted. Additionally, I used Extended Mobil 1 on a 19-year-old car that was leaking oil and was significantly reduced in leaks after using it.

This oil is great for vehicles in Europe
5/5

Because it tastes better and keeps me regular, I prefer Mobile 1 over other brands. Because of that, and because I use it in my personal European cars as well as customers'. While I've run this oil religiously, I have never had a turbocharger or internal component failure due to the A second Audi is no different. With this oil, your FSI cam followers will last longer. My claim that this oil is the best is not supported by any evidence, since I do not know its quality. The good thing is I do know it is very good and totally worth it. The stuff for $9 a quart is available at my local auto parts store, but since I am a tightwad, I put on sunglasses and a hat, keep my head down, and I head out to the driveway. Buying it from Amazon for $5 per quart is much better than having to do the walk of shame for it every time.

It's hard to believe how durable and high-quality this oil is based on science
5/5

Over the past two years, I have been using this oil for my hair, this was the first time I saw it on Amazon for less than it is at Wally World, and it's delivered right In what way is it good for you? Here's a thought to consider I have done oil analysis for Blackstone labs on a fairly regular basis, and I have tested this oil at 5K and 10K miles (it was replaced In both tests, it still had a remaining life estimated as being 7K at the 10K oil change, which would make it good for 17,000 miles. Having gone back to my school days, I never go beyond 10K for oil changes, and 3/3000 was the gold standard for me.

There are a few caveats to consider It is a cheap form of insurance for me to replace the filter (Wix) at the 5-K mark. In my opinion, the Mobil 1 filters are not necessarily better than filters from another manufacturer, nor are they required by the You're supposed to use Mobil 1 filters to achieve "full protection" but if you have an oil related failure after 12,000 miles, good luck trying to collect regardless which filter you used as they'll surely claim that you were operating in harsh conditions and should have cycled it frequently. I could be wrong, but, as is the case with most guarantees, there are more reasons not to pay than there are to pay. As a result, I have to put my faith in the extensive oil analysis that Blackstone performs. The oil side of the game is not a concern for them, so they have every reason to be upfront, honest, and transparent regarding your Also, to be transparent, when I used "regular" Mobil 1 synthetic in the same car (2012 Honda Accord BTW) and sent the analysis in at 7,500 miles, it recommended extending the interval by 5000 miles, showing that even base synthetic is a superior product. On Amazon right now, the price of this is so competitive that I probably would have stuck with the regular, but for almost the same price, I would have gone Initially I would like to use it in my 2003 Toyota 4Runner V6 with 120,000 miles and could likely run the entire trial in that vehicle as I have a fourteen year test history for comparison purposes, starting with dino oil to Mobil 1 at 30,000 miles and finally Toyota OEM filters are the only ones I use, and they're changed out halfway through the cycle with testing at the halfway and end points.

I use this oil exclusively
5/5

During the life of my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, I only use this oil. In addition to 5w, it wants I buy the 30 in the manual because that's what it says. It is used to keep my pickup warm in extremely cold weather when I live in North Dakota. Considering that I drive a lot, I change it every 5000 miles or so and thankfully it doesn't look terrible afterwards. The only time I put on 3k a year was when I did 3000. It is sufficient to do it every 5k or at least once a year, in my opinion. You should not waste your time and money on yearly protection. The site has been up since I hit 100k and now has 140k. I have changed it after towing my boat around all summer and visiting glacier National Park with my girlfriend and it looked just fine - not black, but used oil brown. I have never noticed the "hemi tick" with this oil as opposed to others I have heard. Additionally, I only use Mobil 1 oil at my motorcycle, but I am using a V-twin clutch instead An exact synonym for twin. Wix filters are also the only ones I use The Wix is my favorite as I have cut open several of them and I like how heavy it is and how it has Like Delco, the end cap of a Fram still has a cardboard appearance. My mobile phone and a Wix filter are the best While this is about the same price as the local Walmart, it has the advantage of not requiring me to drive to the store. The winter in this year has been cold. The vehicle is parked in the driveway at - and there is no block heater. I am shocked that it hasn't blown up yet in the morning at 25F! I took a photo of my desk on my phone today to show me how much of it The second one I used for my sister's 2005 Buick Lacrosse 3 is the same. It will be 8L but I will use 7 quarts in my truck Oil of this caliber is really great.

This oil is excellent for daily use and has a proven track record of high quality
5/5

Almost every recent model car, starting from 2017 and up, specifies 0-49 The viscosity of oil 20 is multiviscosity. It is said that manufacturers use this thin oil in an attempt to increase MPG a few tenths. A trick that's been around for years Since the NASCAR boys first began doing it decades ago, it has become a staple in their lives. The oil pump has less work to do and there is more horsepower in the engine with thin oil. For every race, they use a different engine. Putting a new engine in your Honda might not be a good idea. Then and now. The extra light viscosity oil is significantly worse for lubrication from an engineer's point of view. The majority of Honda owners do not care about better lubrication, they just care about a few tenths of an MPG gain. People tend to buy cars based on low monthly payments and get rid of them long before the engine wears out. There is a lot of stuff in that statement that I do not accept or agree with. Make sure the trunk is empty. Join a carpool. Reduce your weight by 50 pounds by eating healthy. Driving unnecessary trips in the car is not a good idea. It doesn't matter. I have a big red flashing NO sign on my engine if I use crap oil. In order to replace this, I use this. I bid you farewell, Roger.

For the price, this is the best oil
5/5

I have found Amazon to be cheaper than Wally World for Mobile 1 oil. It is excellent synthetic oil at a great price. It is possible that there is a better motor oil than Mobile 1, but I haven't located it yet. Mobile 1 oil can now compete with regular motor oil in price. You will be able to extend the life of your engine by using You know that many of you swear by Amsoil, but Amsoil is much more expensive. My experience with using Mobile 1 motor oil for a lifetime has taught me that your car will die of sun damaged paint and a sun damaged interior before the engine wears out. After the price difference between Mobile 1 oil and regular (oil derived from crude) oil was eliminated. It makes no sense not to use Mobile 1 synthetic oil.
