Questions & Answers

What is the process for cleaning an engine? Can you explain it to me?

You should warm up your engine to normal operating temperature before trying to start it. Make sure you pour all the flush into your engine. You may get burnt if it gets too Replacing your oil cap and running the engine without revving for ten minutes will help restore the oil. Once you've changed your oil, all you have to do is start the process over again. Make sure to keep an eye on your oil because it My 1998 Honda accord with 240000 miles gave off a very strong smell of oil gas. It occurred to me immediately by driving that the smell had disappeared after the first drive. Good luck!

When you flush it, does it take off the ceratec/motor protection layer?

We do not know the precise answer to your question, but we believe that it will remove the ceratec coat with a flush.

I love that it works! Almost three years ago, I bought a cheap used Subaru Impreza STI that has a high mileage and suffered from some neglect
5/5

The oil in the car had obviously not been changed for some time and it didn't get regular oil changes for a decent amount of time. In an attempt to clean out the engine, I carried out oil changes and cleaned the intake valves Two thousand miles is the amount of time between filter changes. As a result of these four attempts, I was not progressing. Changing the oil didn't prevent the oil from turning black pretty much the next day. Having read the reviews I decided to go out on a limb and try this product, and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I noticed there was no sludge in the drain pan of this new vehicle, but the oil poured out blacker than any night you've ever seen. All of these newer vehicles use Synthetic Oils, so I did not see any sludge in the drain pan. Following just one use, the engine was significantly cleaner, and the oil took a couple weeks to get back to its normal dark black color. I used it again after another 2500 miles, and my oil almost looks as good as new after After one more use, I should be good for quite some time. Very impressed with this product!

As an added note, I am concerned about Turbo Safeness, but I have yet to experience any problems since having used this product for about 10,000 miles. I hope this helps someone else with a turbo car decide if this product is right for them.

It's a great product with noticeable results and I'm very pleased with it

Thank you so much for your efforts. The engine oil on my 2008 BMW 328xi with a N51 engine was drained and replaced with seven quarts of brand-new NAPA 5w-70 The filter is a NAPA brand "gold" blend made of 30% synthetic material. In addition, I added LiquiMoly's engine flush to the engine after the filter and oil were changed. As the engine was cold, and the oil still hadn't been added to it, it was not started. In this case, the Flush system started working with brand new oil and a brand new filter in a cold engine. After putting the engine on a timer, I let it idle for twenty minutes. Upon shutting off the engine, drain the NAPA Synthetic blend oil + flush, and remove the filter immediately. The filter was replaced with a Mann filter, and the crankcase was filled with LiquiMoly long life 5w-30 The full synthetic version is 40. As soon as the engine started up, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound. There has been an obvious difference in noise levels. During idle, the idle was smoother, and settled out more quickly than it was Neither can I speak to performance or “horsepower” because I do not have a dyno and since this product does not make HP claims, it should not use that term. Below are pictures of the oil and the filter before and after the flushing. As a result of twenty minutes of operation at idle, the oil and filter that emerged were much dirtier than those expected after twenty minutes of idle without a I am very pleased with the overall outcome. This will definitely become a regular part of my oil change schedule.

A sticky case of lifters was fixed thanks to your help
5/5

As of today, there are no more tick tick ticks. For some background on my review, I worked 40 years in the automotive industry. And I have always been wary of strong chemicals like Liquimoly, which contain acids. With two old, high mileage cars, I figured this wouldn't matter, as if they caused problems with lubrication, they shouldn't be put in the engine. However, with two old, high mileage cars, I figured this product couldn't really hurt. The two cars I've used it on have over 100,000 miles on them, and both have been flushed so far. 190,000 miles on a 2002 Toyota Camry V6 was the first car I owned. The car's been pampered ever since I bought it, so I didn't notice a huge difference after the service, just a tiny improvement in smoothness This means little or no sludge was needed to be flushed In the second case, the car is It has not logged that many miles (117,000), but it is old and has (hydraulic) lifters that are making a ticking noise. The flush may not be harmful or even concern you, but it is noticeable, and I wondered if the flush would make any The answer is yes. I removed the old oil/flush and put in new oil immediately after draining the old oil, and the ticking seems to be gone now (one week after the change). As in there was a noticeable change in the lifter noise, as in the noise moved from constant to intermittent The tick-tock The ticking will stop when the computer is idle. It seems like there might have been some sludge in the lifters and a flush helped to clean it out.

I need a miracle formula for cleaning my 1989 Ford Bronco with a 5
5/5

9L. I live in Arizona and drive a 1994 Ford Bronco with a 5. 9L. A Peugeot 408 engine with 253,000 miles on it and a four wheel drive vehicle that is mostly off-road is driven about 4000 miles a year. As is typical before May, I begin maintaining the truck for the looked at a lot of reviews before I found this product, so I was looking for the best products with the highest feedback. As a result, I purchased this as well as the Liquid Moly for Hydraulic Lifter Noisey for the purpose of adding after using. It was only after the cans got here, when I realized they are German, that I realized they were from that country as the instructions were translated into Following their instructions to the letter was my responsibility. Afterward, I bought the oil filter and oil I wanted to use, which had a high mileage rating. In the can of Liquid Moly Engine Flush, I poured it into the engine and let it idle It's okay to let the engine idle without driving or racing it. My filtered oil was drained into the waste pan after exactly 10 minutes. As I watched little pieces of dried oil from the inside walls pour out, I was amazed at how dirty black the oil was. Seeing a good amount of food in the dump pan made me happy.

It was an excellent result
5/5

We had an older vehicle with a bit low oil pressure. It is not clear if this was a result of previous owners not performing maintenance on time or neglecting the mechanical aspect of the vehicle. As a result of using this product, the oil pressure increased by 15 psi. There was a pretty bad smell coming out of the engine due to the engine oil. A new oil filter was installed and Mobil1 oil was used. Engine performance is definitely different between a new engine and a used engine. It is quieter and smoother to run.
