No, it claims to be a propellant made of petroleum oil and hydrocarbon. It's best if you read it straight from the can.
It can be connected to a speedometer cable. I'd rather use a lithium-based wheel bearing grease, such as Mystic from O really auto. If you could separate the inner cable from the outer jacket of an older chevy speedo cable, that would be ideal. This lube is ideal for clutch and throttle cables on motorcycles and atvs.
Although I'm not certain, the following is what the can indicate: Hydrocarbon propeller, br>petroleum oil I sincerely hope this information is useful.
There is a cable tool that is not included.

This lube is just as slick and long-lasting as the competition. When using the lube tool, a can like this is fine because you can lube your bike multiple times a year without having to remove the cable; I'll use this can multiple times a year if I feel I need to, but I don't think I will. I'd make another purchase. UPDATE: I've been riding for about 4 months now, and my bike's cables are flawless. The bike has been in both hot and cold weather with no effect on the spray. I've got enough in this small bottle to last me a long time. I would strongly advise the motorcycle community to purchase this product.
This stuff is much more enjoyable to use than WD- 40 or whatever number you want. It's designed to extend the life of your clutch cable, and it cleans and lubricates without leaving any residue to attract dirt. Keep your tires on the road and have fun!.
The aerosol can is extremely small, much smaller than standard aerosol cans. The main issue I have with this product is that it stains everything it touches and is impossible to remove. Drips have stained my plastics and gas tank, and they are refusing to wash off. Degreaser and contact cleaner won't get rid of it. br>br>I've never tried another brand, but this one is definitely a disaster.
This item is supposed to include a small red tube through which the lubricant can be sprayed. This tube was missing from the can I received, rendering the product largely ineffective.
This stuff works hard and keeps on working. For the past two years, a chair that I used to have to lubricate on a monthly basis has been silent. It's been 3 months since I've used it, and it shows no signs of needing lube anytime soon!.
I bought this and a motion pro cable luber after reading numerous reviews. Unfortunately, I was unable to insert the lubricator into the cable using either of these methods. br>Fluid just kept coming out the top of the toolbr>I'm giving this product an average rating because it might work if you can get it into the cable.
The clutch, brake, and throttle cables all snap back much better after using it.
I'm pleased with the outcome!.
