I was looking for silicone paste for my Toyota RAV4 brake replacement, and I compared this to 3M that offered the same performance and cost 20% less. I received the container full and applied it as I expected. My knowledge of 3M being used for shrink wrap on solder then led me to read about the paste's ability to make shrink wrap weather resistant, but no reviews mentioned it as being able to make solder waterproof. By calling the company by the phone number on the bottle, I was contacted by a human. In response to my question, they referred my call to Bill Krause (sic), who told me that the paste is versatile and can help repair shrink and warped solder joints. It took less than 8 minutes for the whole call to take place, including a brief hold and a very detailed discussion. Such a company does not exist in my mind.
Silicone paste is what it is. I tested it and it worked I really like how thick the paste is and how well it lubricates. You can use it for many purposes, including for making windshield tracks on cars and trucks. Brake caliper slides, etc. , or anything that is in contact with rubber, can also benefit from it. The product is at least a few dollars cheaper than most of the more commonly known names, however it is of high quality and comes with an If something like this left me for less money than other brands, I would keep buying it since the product seems to be just as good as the others.
AME 51025 quick valve change tool was just what I needed to replace a valve stem on my tractor tire. I could have had it done at a tire shop for more than $100, so I decided to purchase this silicon lubricant. A minimum of $200 in labor costs as well as the inconvenience of having to remove my tractor wheel, jack up the tractor on soft grass on an uneven grade, drive 30 miles round trip, and spend 2 hours on the trip . It took me 3 hours to get the tires inflated. The stuff had to work or I would be in trouble! The first thing we need to do is get started. With a bottle of Tribology/Tech Lube, there is a lot of product. Two points are important to know first, the piston quick change tool has a large opening, and it is easy to use with one hand second, to replace the valve stem, you have to prepare silicon grease. Oil based lubes will drastically reduce the life span of any implement which comes in contact with them. As the rubber valve stem was inserted into the 4" guide tube, it slipped through the steel rim on the tractor wheel and into place creating an air tight seal. This lube helped make the process simple and free of hassles. This stuff is necessary if you take care of valve stems with a quick valve stem tool!.
This raw Silicone Paste can be used in a number of ways but I have been trying to eliminate a noisy shimmy on the top of my BMW Convertible for months. A silicone spray, gummie seal and other similar products were recommended and all yet to be effective. I'd like to know how the weather is As I'm also told, the stripping becomes harder as it ages. To get the best results, I applied the Silicone Paste liberally to the metal parts and rubber that close, open, and attach my convertible top with the brush that came with it. After letting it air dry here in Florida for a bit, I took it to the car for a short ride. Luckily, the silicone is in raw form, so it is going to liquidify quickly, and dripped a little on my windows, but it came off with a soft cloth with no problem. We don't know what's happening, but it seems to have sealed down the top frame and after a few test drives, there is no more shimmy or noise at all. Although it took me a while to figure out how the silicone works, I have so far had outstanding results that nobody else could match. I give this product 5 stars.
I am very pleased with the product. A plastic bag is used to package and seal the product. Here is a photo I attached. In order to keep everything neat, this is essential. While researching what to use on the toilet ball seal in my RV toilet, I overheard that there are several items you can use. Silicone is said to be best. It is impossible to seal the door with anything containing petroleum. Once I use the silicone paste, I will post an update. The price of silicone paste, grease, and aerosol is high. I think this is the cheapest way to get Priced in an appropriate manner, the product is a good value. The following information is up to date as of In addition to sealing the RV toilet ball gasket, I have used this product to grease a variety of items that needed a lubricating agent made of stainless steel. I have found this product to be very useful.
A ring. Electrical connectors, for instance, are protected from water by this type of seal.
Rubber is not compatible with this product. My wife and I need this grease to lubricate the sliders in the brake calipers of our cars the sliders have rubber bushings, and the lubricant must be silicone based to prevent the rubber bushing from swelling A fine coat of it was applied to the blade of one of my windshield wipers and left on it for the day for testing. Using a wiper blade as a sink cleaner caused it to react with the wiper blade, so I wiped it off and My blade streaked after it was replaced because it had worn out. Before throwing it away after testing it for 8 months, I took a look at the container to make sure that it had all dried solid.
This includes the 7 way plug as well. There is no evidence that it does what it is described doing. Having easier access to the windows has made them easier to open and close. We can only hope that this will keep corrosion at bay on the 7-way.
