Questions & Answers

Can Dr. Tranny Kooler Kleen transmission line flush be used if you drain the transmission oil from the transmission drainpan before it is used?

The purpose of this product is to clean and flush transmission lines and coolers. Disconnect your transmission lines and coolers from the transmission, then use this product to clean and flush the lines and coolers. Please do not inject this product into your transmission you do not want it inside your transmission. Most often, this product can be used to remove debris from lines and coolers prior to the installation of a rebuilt or remanufactured After using this product, you should also try to clean it out from the lines. By using a low-pressure air hose or, better yet, by pumping transmission fluid into the lines and coolers until it runs clear, you will have done everything you can on the problem. Despite this, there are no cleaners in the transmission!

Is there the option of a universal tip in addition to this?

The answer is yes. The tip is also available on Amazon, but not in a universal form. Most likely a no-problem, but make sure the lines are disconnected from the engine. Place the water in through one end and out through

What is the best way to use it for Nissan vehicles' transmission coolers?

Upon flushing your cvt cooler and the lines, you should use compressed air to blow them over again

We cleaned the factory transmission coolers well but we got a lot of black sludge out! Disconnecting the cooler lines from the transmission (GM 6L80 in full-size All fluid has been blown out using shop air first
5/5

As a means of connecting the cooler to the drain pan, I used a length of clear, plastic tubing. of the pan in the same darkened red color as what came out of the pan, but was not thick, nor did it appear too dark or darkened. The shop air was passed through the factory coolers (one in the radiator and one in front of the radiator) a few times and alternated between one and the other. I cut off the end of the clear, plastic tube attached to the can of Kooler Kleen to remove the adapter. In terms of fit, the tube fit very tightly inside the cooler line. After I sent the Kooler Kleen into the line, I thought there was not much My head was swimming as I walked, when I noticed some dark-colored liquid coming out the other line. It then appeared very sludge-like as it turned very dark. I just wanted a few seconds to think about it. Following the blast of dark sludge, the fluid coming out of the vent got clearer and clearer. In maybe two thirds of the can, I put it through one way and then reversed it for the remaining third. Finally, I blew shop air through the lines for a minimum of 30 seconds in each direction and performed this at least three times. An explosion of dark, sludge-like sludge could have been heard. . . I saw chunks of dirt, grass, and other debris coming out of the clear tubing, which is proof that this product did dislodge and flush out accumulated materials. The sludge that's been accumulated and drained into that pipe is a lot worse than I thought The cooler cannot be made more functional by using materials like these. Although I am not certain if I improved cooling efficiency, I feel better getting all the dirt and debris out of the lines and coolers, even if it doesn't make a Additionally, I like the idea of getting a lot more new fluid into the transmission, so I'll be able to get that much closer to a completely new fluid. We can all make a difference if we try. In all of my vehicles, I plan to use Kooler Kleen every time the transmission fluid is changed. I like how easy it is to use and how inexpensive it is. In addition, cleaner lines and coolers won't hurt performance at all and might even serve to keep the fluids a little cooler, which can only prolong transmission and fluid.

I really like this product! I encourage you to watch this video! My lift is the one I used to do mine
5/5

It's not only easy on the floor, but also looks good! On October 13, I had my 2003 Chevy Silverado 4l60e 2WD transmission rebuilt. As I followed the instructions on the can and in the video, I went both ways when I connected the cooler lines. I then put the transmission in and made sure the cooler lines were connected correctly. Is a fantastic product! br>There is only one difference after the cleaner I shot air in the line from my compressor. There was still some chemical left over after cleaning. Cleans it out in no time. During the cleaning process, fresh ATF fluid was added. The result could not have been better

I also used about 5' of clear low pressure fuel line over the cooling lines that run into a trash can to eliminate the Make sure you plan ahead before you pull the trigger, or you'll get it in the face.

A used cooler should be cleaned out after use
5/5

The threaded end was cut off, the hose was widened with needle nose pliers and heat, and it was used to clean out a factory transmission cooler I found at the junkyard. Don't let mystery fluid enter the transmission, which could cause.

An incorrect description of the item
3/5

As described literally, "Doctor Tranny Kooler Kleen Flush Cleaner with Universal Tip" is used, repackaged, and designated by a number of car manufacturers and the nation's largest transmission rebuilders. In the video, the cans would have come with the universal fitting but the cans have come with a threaded adapter instead. The seller has no idea what he is doing, so the product is good.

The only thing I could recommend is that you clamp a piece of (probably 3/8) fuel hose to your line with a push in 1/4 pipe fitting on the other end
5/5

I was able to discover the blockage point and clear it after using this product. It kept the pressure on the line and I was able to find my cooling system was plugged. In order to ensure that the lines were flowing freely, I used two cans and flushed both directions back and forth. After the flush, compressed air was passed through the cooling system to verify that the lines were flowing properly. This male 1/4-pipe fitting screws directly onto my line fittings and is on the end of the hose. Typical fittings are 1/4 pipe if your fittings are altogether different, you will have to find a method to connect them. The only thing I could recommend is that you clamp a piece of (probably 3/8) fuel hose to your line with a push in 1/4 pipe fitting on the other end.

This worked great for flushing my large B&M cooler
5/5

There was some nasty stuff that This product worked well to flush my large BM and MB The cooler and the lines go together. It is flushed well in both directions by plenty of pressure and fluid. In other words, it is not necessary to have a perfect fit for it to work. I just pressed the nozzle to the line fitting and held it in place with my hand while I pushed the trigger. I was done, I waited for the dripping to stop and used my air compressor to blow out any remaining product, but it appears to dry quickly, kind of like brake cleaner, so that may not be necessary. If you intend to use it, you should wear gloves of some sort, such as nitrile or rubber. No, it doesn't burn your skin or anything, but when you smell it (it is a strong smell.

A quick and easy way to clean up messes! The tranny on my 2001 Silverado needed replacing, so I thought it'd be best to flush the lines before I installed the new one so that there was no crap in the new unit
5/5

I had no problems using this stuff, I had enough pressure to get it out of It's through my radiator cooler, through the auxillary cooler, and then out of the transmission. I removed the can after finishing the process (which took me a while) and blew some forced air through the lines to make sure that all of the fluid and flush had been removed. I found it to be extremely helpful! The input and output transmission lines were each fitted with a 3/8" rubber hose (the dirty flush ran I bought the cooler line because it was the best product and Amazon was the cheapest and fastest shipping. It was a no-brainer!.
