Questions & Answers

Do you know of anyone who has used this to flush their home HVAC system?

According to my understanding, a more solvent is needed for Home HVAC systems. In HVAC stores, compressor capacity is used to determine how much to sell. It is recommended to divide by two when sizing things up This is for a 7-piece flush canister Lines on the low side). There would also be a need for more if there had been an electrical burnout, as this would require more debris to be cleaned up.

What if you have a plugged heater core? Can this be used to flush it?

It's a pretty common thing for a/c cores to be made of aluminum, and heaters usually are copper. If you're not sure if the flush will react with aluminum, you might speak to a professional if you're not sure.

What is the compatibility of this product with R410A?

Hello you will be able to use it as long as you blow out the system with Nitrogen to dry it out and flush out the last of the water in the pipe. In addition to 408,404, 410, and 134, we've also used it

You've got some good stuff here
5/5

There is no fault with the product itself - the seller is at fault. Fast evaporating flushes are what I was looking for, and this stuff certainly did the trick. There is a HIGHLY FLAMMABLE potential to this material. You can flush parts on the computer if you're - Identify the battery and remove it from the vehicle. Don't forget to wear eye protection and gloves. Make sure there is a lot of ventilation in the room. A final tip ordering plenty of food is a good idea. As this was my first experience flushing, I had a lot to learn. During a routine evaporator flush on my 15-year-old Grand Cherokee, I found the electrical wiring was loose. It would have been easier to replace it, but the entire dashboard would have need to be removed. My initial assumption was that a gallon of water would be adequate. It took a couple of minutes for the first flush to sit in the evaporator before I was able to blow it Considering that first flush pretty much removed dye and oil and had a lot of black particles, it was probably a good idea to stop there. A gallon would not be enough, as I realized right away. In order to catch the particles, I built a filter using a screened funnel and white cotton cloth. I was able to reuse the solvent by following this process. Having lost quite a bit of solvent constantly to spillage and evaporation, I had to add more fresh solvent in every flush. As the particles were flushed away, they fewer and fewer and eventually disappeared. The last quarter of my solvent will be used for two final flushes. I found this process to be very successful. In my opinion, the evaporator has been cleaned to the best of my ability. After replacing all of the other components in the system, everything is working fine once again. Here is what I hope will be.

I found this to work like a charm! Using this product, I repaired our damaged air conditioner after it had been shorted out (burned)

As soon as the mineral oil burns out, it becomes acidic, and all traces of it must be removed from the system or else your new compressor and its motor windings will fail quickly. It was time to replace the copper evaporator coil with a new aluminum one (24 year old Carrier slant coil), so I just cut off the suction and liquid lines from the evaporator and outside from To use a CO2 blower, I poured the solvent into a canister and blew it with a CO2 lamp at 3000 psi To spray the solvent through the lines outside into a bucket with a towel in the bottom to remove it from the lines. Without having to expand on it, it swept away all the gunk from the lines and dried them out within a short period of time without leaving any Earlier, a UV leak detector dye has been injected into the system to test for a leak in the liquid line. A towel in the bucket was covered with this dye years ago. Afterwards, we brazed in the new liquid/suction line for the evaporator and then tested it with nitrogen under pressure. I would also like to draw your attention to somebody in the trade who thinks that CO2 or Argon may be used for pressure testing, but don't, because those gases seep through the pipes while If you use anything other than nitrogen gas, you will not be able to determine whether you have a leak or not in a reasonable amount of time. In today's market, brazing with CO2 is perfectly acceptable, as it eliminates the need to constantly The CO2 tank occupies a similar amount of space, but it holds more because it is a liquid which then expands to gas, unlike your nitrogen tank, which is Anyhow, we pressure tested with the Testo 550 manifold and had no leaks (held pressure for 30+ minutes and not a single 1 psig in pressure), so we are ready to go onto the condenser when we are done putting in hay for the It is time to convert an old 3-phase 3-phase compressor from R22 to R407c (Copeland POE compressor) It is very important for the A/C system to be leak free due to the size and weight of the system. In addition to these various refrigerants (R424a, R407c, etc. R22 and R410a are very different animals, as they have almost no temperature glide, so they can simply top the system off if it's a little low, because it can remain at that temperature for a long time. The product is very good, and I highly recommend it. However, I very much dislike working with air conditioning and don't intend to ever need to buy any more products as a result of a compressor burnout.

It was a good solution
5/5

In order to restore the A/C on my father's old truck, I purchased the unit. To blow out all the lines, I disconnected them and used this solvent and a flushing tool. Now that the A/C is working properly, it's as cold as new. It smells like MEK, it tastes like MEK, and it's great for removing old paint and stickers. I had some left over, and I'm pretty sure it's MEK.

Buying more bottles will stop Contaminants from building up in the future. I used 7 bottles on a suburban with rear ac to flush properly to remove all contamination.
