As stated on the can, the can is not 1 Quart but is actually only 25 oz of solvent as indicated in the title description of the product. On Amazon, other products of the same type are listed as either 1 Quart or 32 oz and in reality contain 32 oz.
The 59024 flush gun was used to flush out each component according to the directions. This product worked right out of the container, but I did have to purchase another bottle of it locally because I needed a bit more for In hindsight, if I had been more cautious and conservative in the beginning, I might have been able to achieve what I wanted. As I poured into the flush gun, I spilled a bit.
If your internal compressor breaks, it is essential that you have your lines cleaned. There is no doubt this stuff really works to remove the debris and old oil from the system. This is something I would recommend.
I found this product to be a good product recommended by all your compressor manufacturers, and it worked as intended, leaving me with ice cold air once again.
With only four seasons parts, I replaced the compressor, the accumulator, the orifice tube, the oil, and I flushed the system. Texans built them well and they are of high quality. Even on a very hot day (100+) in Texas, the system will create 40 degree air, which gets even colder if it dips below 95 degrees. The gap between the pulley and the plate driving the compressor shaft was a bit wore out in the compressor. A slight scrapping sound is made when the plate is not engaged with the pully. The problem only occurred when you turned off the compressor. The sound is no longer audible because the fabric has worn in over time. As I paid $68 for the rebuilt compressor, it normally retailed for $268 at the local parts store, so the value of the parts is very high. The only parts I'd buy would be the four seasons, and I would purchase them on I am giving it four stars for scrapping, and I am counting all parts as one package. The hotel would have earned five stars, and maybe it will be mentioned in the future.
It seems that the system has been flushed.
It's the only chemical flush product I use. It's a must to remove years of oil varnish, crud, and whatever else accumulates on lines, hoses and components when you work on the HVAC system every season. This is a great way to keep everything as clean as possible for re-use Taking care of the oil and charging the batteries. The product is non-corrosive, evaporates quickly (this means that ventilation is required). As long as the refuse is disposed of responsibly, you're good to go.
