My theory is that it would work, but I have never tried it.
Yes, this is clear, and it dries quickly and does not leave any residue behind.

The company I worked for used to buy this by the pallet load when I was a field service technician. Whenever a tech was on the clock, at least two cans were with them. Normally, we use it to clean dust, dirt, and toner out of PCs, copiers, and faxes. It can be cleaned well, it dries quickly, and it is non-absorbent There is no residue left behind since it is conductive. For those purposes, compressed air is better than air. If you can stand the cold, it will even clean your shirt of mishaps. There was only one can without a nozzle, which is the only reason for four stars. The two cans were a good thing A grin ensues.
The stuff is great, but it's very expensive. As if by This thing does what it's supposed to, but is it expensive or what? In my opinion, it is a five star product because of how well it performs. Because I am cheap, it gets a 1 start in the affordability department. The stuff isn't cheap, but it is expensive. Did I tell you it costs so much? I know that this stuff is expensive, but I think it's good.
During my practice, I used it on a Telecaster and practice amplifier. Now I don't hear any scratchy noise from either of them anymore. The set is now in my "Man Cave" with the other must-have gear I must have. Be sure to completely dry it before storing.
The product is ideal for cleaning electrical motor windings that have been coated with oil residue.

Although I had tried compressed air, it did not work. The blue shower tech spray immediately fixed the issue, so that the sustain pedal now works.
