Can I get the red spray nozzle tube with the curved adapter with the can?

That should be the case. As I have purchased different ones over the years, I have found that the ones with the big black cap are the ones that There is another type of sea foam can with a small cap that is used to pour. Thank you for your help

There has been a lot of talk about mAF sensors being damaged by this. also have a map sensor on the throttle body, will this have an effect on it as well?

In short, yes. According to the Tech Guys, you can spray beyond the sensor if you disconnect the air inlet tube/duct. To reach into the back, an aerosol comes with a plastic tube bent in a curved shape. Visit their YouTube channel to see some of their

How is this product used? Do you pour it into a fuel tank before you fill it ?

Selected User Reviews For Sea Foam SS14 Cleaner and Lube

Here's what you need to know if you're skeptical! This review is being rewritten a few weeks after using SeaFoam for the first time
5/5

In my first review, I talked about the smoke, the smoother car performance, and so forth. What we normally do. We have seen a great deal of improvement in both of our cars since using this product. Throughout the online world there is a great deal of debate about its Depending on whom you ask, SeaFoam is either regarded as snake oil or as a great product. As well, they dispute the statement that that smoke is actually being produced by the burning of products, not carbon dioxide. As for the smoke part of the question, does it really make a difference? Two of our high-performing employees have been promoted The miles on a car are important. There is a 2009 Jeep Liberty with 143,000 miles and a 2013 Kia Forte with 94,000 miles. Over the past year, the Jeep has been displaying the Check Engine light "Cat Inefficiency, Bank 2" at P0430 is a description of the code. It was discovered that the timing chains and guides, as well as the Thermal Intake Sensor (what Jeep calls the Mass Airflow Sensor), MAP Sensor, and EGR valve had been replaced. As I lived near the ocean for a long time, I began to accept that the Catalytic Coverter was history from abuse, so I ran CatAClean through (very expensive), cleared the code repeatedly, but the Check Engine light kept coming Techroline (and others), SeaFoam in the gas tank, and a lot of others did the same. There are two shops that gave me estimates of $2,200 for a total Catalytic Converter Y-pipe I ran to the pipe since there was sure to be a second cat behind me. As well, my Jeep's motor has been painted all carboned up on a scope all along. It's been weeks since the Check Engine light came on after I ran this product in the intake system, did the hot soak and smoke routine, cleared the codes, and the Check Engine light has not come back on. Never before has it been off for more than 24 hours We turned the car off as soon as it For the first time almost a year, there is no P0430 code! I am driving myself up a wall! Honestly I wasn't even trying it to fix this problem, just to try and smooth out the idle. Fortunately we were able to avoid the unintended consequence and saved 2,000 dollars because if the light stayed on, I would have had to replace the cats to SMOG it. wouldn't be able to sell it even if I tried. Let's talk about the KIA now. During acceleration, we have been experiencing LOUD pinging from the car. My ability to resolve the problem was much worse because I didn't do much to address it. During the 100K check up, I was planning to take care of it. Nevertheless, I ran it for fifteen minutes in the intake of the KIA. Because of the Jeep experience, I ran it in the intake of the Jeep as well My curiosity really got the better of me. We started it back up and there didn't seem to be any There is none. There was nothing for miles, but the ping continued! Suddenly, as the car was accelerating on the freeway, it kind of paused for a second (which frightened me a little), and began blowing blue smoke - it seems like it is burning through exhaust pipes. The car behind is so obscured that it's difficult to even see it. The pinging gradually subsided and was completely gone by the end of the session. The idle noise has gotten so loud that I have to keep checking to make sure it really is The same as everyone else, I've thrown away money on miracle cures in hopes that I'd hit the jackpot. There is no such thing as a ghost. I've run sea foam in the gas tank a lot but never felt it made a difference. I just ran it in the oil and it worked excellent (although it did indeed help). It is still a really great product. It was said the Valvoline guys had their own similar item (for $40 a can) as well. You seem to be able to keep it away from your MASS Airflow Sensor and it should be fine for your car. This is probably not something I'll use on the Kia again for a very long time, however, I will include it in my regular Jeep tune-ups after 30,000 miles. It seems there are many people who believe this is "snake oil" who either have much more serious issues than the actual product can help with, or they have never had any problems and expect it to be As a result, I have seen tangible, quantifiable results and a major repair bill was narrowly averted.

This is a great idea! In my opinion, I am skeptical of the concept of cleaning my engine
5/5

A throttle body cleaning was recommended by the dealership to my wife at the last oil change, and they have given her an estimate. Because I can't even buy oil for what the dealer charges, the only thing we get at the dealer is an oil change. I looked up throttle body cleaning on the internet in order to see what I had to do and discovered When I first heard that I would be able to do the same work at a shop for $10, I was like, yeah, right. My wife told me that they had explained what they do to her at the dealership. In the instructions of the Sea Foam box, it is described the same way. My initial impression was that it might be the same process they use at the dealership, so I decided to give it a go. In any event, I had to disassemble the intake anyhow since I was installing a cold air induction system. Following the instructions on the can, I used the product. Using Sea Foam as a throttle body cleaner, I had my wife keep the throttle at recommended RPMs while I sprayed the foam In a "hot soak", let it sit for 10 minutes. After getting it running, I started driving a little bit slowly at first, then I took When I entered the on ramp and merged, I throttled down to keep up with An enormous gray cloud erupted from my exhaust as I did this. I love this stuff! I just used Sea Foam last night, not too long ago, my throttle response was poor, and my gas mileage was declining. Now, there is improved throttle response and increased mileage, but I haven't had time to observe it yet (I just applied the Foam However, I was so excited about this program that I had to write a review of it. Don't waste your time trying to guess what works, please use this stuff.

The technique was scary but effective
5/5

I used it on my BMW 325 (with 100k miles on it) a few days ago to try to remove some rough idle problems. I followed the instructions exactly, and the issue is gone. For about two minutes, someone kept the RPM at 1500 while I used the spray. There was no problem during this time, the engine was working After that, I left the cleaner to do its thing for five I started the engine a few minutes later and it was really frightening In the yard there was a cloud of gray smoke, and the engine barely ran. On the dashboard, a light known as "Service Engine Soon" After a short drive on some side streets (I kept it in manual mode in order to run it at high RPM) and a 10-minute trip on the highway, I drove it on some highway for five On the way to the highway, we noticed that the engine had started running really smoothly and that the "Service Engine Soon" light was lit. Over the highway, I noted how smooth the engine was running now, and I could feel as though it had more power under the hood (hard to quantify, but I would estimate Even when the engine was cold, the idle was very smooth. I could barely feel it in the steering wheel, even when the engine was cold. A 40-mile-per-hour speed of 65 miles per hour is possible if The cruise control is on). To sum it up, I would say that it's an extremely effective treatment, but it is not recommended for those who are delicate.
