This MG Chemicals "Nutrol" lubricant/cleaner is the best "all-around" lubricant/cleaner available. It is a "one-of-a-kind" product. For nearly two decades, I've been using this product on a regular basis. Oscar, another reviewer, compares this product to a "purified and electronics-free" version. WD- directed " Well said; I'd even go so far as to say that Nutrol is far more useful than WD- 40 on a much broader range of objects and surfaces. WD- Certain plastics can be weakened or damaged by 40 (WD-). Gasoline is said to be present in 40. Nutrol, on the other hand, is non-toxic to all plastics (as I can attest after 20 years of use). Nutrol is a metal-based product, according to Oscar. a lubricant made of metal Yes, he is correct. The highly refined lubricant oils from Nutrol are excellent. But there's more to it. Nutrol can also be used to lubricate plastics. Nutrol's lubricants lack the durability and waterproofness of some modern lubricants (such as high-performance lubricants). waxes made of paraffin technology); Nutrol's lubricant oils, on the other hand, will not quickly dissipate or cease to lubricate. Nutrol also has a great flushing action (for electronics, armatures, motors, and so on). Nutrol's highly refined oils are, in fact, non-toxic. staining and extremely light in weight; Nonetheless, at least at first, this is an oily product. Nutrol isn't a wet oil, which is important. It stays slick indefinitely to attract dust and grime, and it dries quickly without losing its effectiveness. Excess Nutrol should, however, be wiped up because it is oily. Finally, Nutrol performs admirably as a contact cleaner. Just remember that Nutrol isn't a quick fix. whether it is dry or not Isopropyl alcohol, electrical contact cleaner, or DeoxIT D5 are some of the drip cleaners available. Nutrol, on the other hand, is an oily contact cleaner spray, at least at first, and the spray can includes a very useful adjustable spray head. Nutrol comes in handy for a variety of tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and restoring electrical fans, such as computer cooling fans. Each fan operates so cleanly, quietly, and efficiently that I'm constantly amazed. Nutrol is a super-protective software that I use on my USB ports. Connections and disconnections are made as smoothly as possible.
Pots, switches, and jacks are all quickly cleaned. It's oily, but unlike some other solvent-based products I've used, it doesn't appear to harm panel graphics or other items. I believe the tone of the amplifier has improved, or at the very least returned to its original state. Sounds strange, and all I can think of is that, in addition to cleaning up the resistance track, gunk under the wiper was interfering with the signal path. br>Went through the entire pedal chain as well, including slide pots, power jacks, switches, and the like; some of the older stomp boxes are now as good as new. Wear gloves if you're going to be outside. Skin contact should be flushed for 20 minutes under running water, according to the label. You shouldn't inhale the fumes, and keep an eye out for oily overspray. Overall, this is the most effective electronics cleaner I've ever used. There will be no more excuses. My rig only makes bad noises when I'm playing.
The passenger seat reclining switch on my daughter's 2012 Nissan Murano stopped working properly. The seat could be reclined but not raised. I read on the internet that the problem was most likely dirty contacts on the switch, and that this cleaner worked wonders. Well, I can confirm that they were correct! There was no need for any disassembly. I simply removed the switch's knob, liberally sprayed it, and waited a few minutes. Voila! The switch began to function normally once more. When compared to taking the car to a mechanic for repairs, I'm sure this saved me a lot of money. I'm in a great mood right now! It comes highly recommended!.
Cleaning contacts and segments with little residuebr>is a good option. It only takes a little to make a big difference. It's a bit pricey, but it works.
I had an old guitar amp with a dozen squeaky intermittent pots. I opened it up, sprayed Nutrol liberally into the seams and tiny holes in each pot, and cycled each one for about 10 minutes. When I reassembled it and plugged it in, each pot functioned as if it had never been broken before. I'm very happy with the results, and I'm already looking for other things to squirt it on around the house!.
It was used to repair a Sansui AU-100 that had been sitting in my garage for decades. Stereo amplifier, model 7900. br>Selector switches are fixed, and stereo balance control is intermittent. Because of the numerous health risks associated with this product, I used the control cleaner in my outdoor workshop with plenty of ventilation. Wearing eye protection is also recommended. br>.
I've used it to fix a couple of potentiometers and slide switches that were intermittent and dirty. The applicator's spray quantity is ideal - In contrast to another company's "Perfect Straw,".
Hundreds of knobs, switches, and faders have been repaired. It's on par with, if not slightly better than, the more expensive deoxit. br>I was concerned about the ingredients, which are potentially hazardous. br>You should only use a small amount anyway, but it's best to let it air out and wipe surfaces clean before using. After each use, wash your hands.
