It ought to be more than enough. You don't want to saturate the knobs and buttons with water. Apply a light mist to each item and work it in.
The 2 oz seems to be 100% DeoxIT, while the 5 oz seems to be a 5% concentration.
Because 2 and 3 It could also be due to different sellers or something similar.
I'm not sure, but I used this to clean up the pots and electrical connections on a couple of older amplifiers, and it worked wonders.

According to one of CAIG's own infographics, D100 is specifically recommended for potentiometers (pots), not D5, especially for high-contact cleaning. audio components at the conclusion And with good reason: I didn't have any of the odor or fume issues that D5 is known for, and it works flawlessly. The only drawbacks are that you only get one spray per nozzle press and that mounting the straw could be easier/better. Otherwise, there is less mess, more control over spraying by limiting the number of sprays/presses, and a lower risk of harmful fumes and odor. So far, I've only used it to clean the pots on my guitar pedals, and it's been perfectly safe. It may take more sprays than I'd like, and I may have to quickly turn the cleaning knobs in between sprays, but it's a small price to pay for ensuring less component degradation during cleaning and maintenance, especially over the equipment's lifetime. When it comes to cleaning guitar and pedal pots, I would strongly suggest this over D5.
I have a John Deere 790 tractor that had major battery cable corrosion issues, and until I could cut and splice new cables onto it, I used this on the exposed corroded wire coming off the leads to get the tractor to start. br>Previous attempts at jiggling the cables or even jumping it would not work, but a few shots of the DeoxIT on the cables and it cranked and started right up, and I was able to start it right up every time br>I use this on all of my car battery terminals, as well as any exposed wires, to keep everything in working order. br>br>The DeoxIT is also fantastic at getting my kids' toys to work again after they've been left with batteries in them for too long and the batteries have leaked and corroded the contacts inside the toy. To bring the toys back to life, remove the bad batteries, spray this on the contacts, and replace them with new batteries.
I replaced the incandescent bulb with an LED, but the dome light's switch was broken. I only needed a couple of sprays of this stuff to get it working again; I didn't even need to scrub the electrical contacts. I'm excited to try it out on the rest of my vehicles that have oxidized electrical contacts.
For my recording studio, my instruments (guitars, keyboards, etc. ), computers/networking equipment, and R/C model aircraft and surface vehicles, most of my life's endeavors (both business and personal) rely on some form of electronic equipment. When I come across a scratchy pot or slider, I can solve the problem completely with 1 - 2 x DeoxIT blasts - I've tried a variety of other products, including separate cleaning and lubrication agents, and they've all worked so far. Some have worked better than others, but you'll have to buy two products rather than just one if you want to save money. As a result, it'll cost twice as much and take twice as long. I've been a long-time customer of DeoxIT and have complete faith in their products. Furthermore, the D100 product is non-corrosive to both plastics and metals.
need . Because there isn't a lot of it, I'll need another can. To get all of the liquid out (as with any other can sprayer of this type), you'll need to hold it more upright. I couldn't believe how clear and powerful the sound was on a guitar looper when I first used it. I was on the verge of tossing the looper out the window. It's now a permanent fixture in my setup. I use it for my mixer as well, but on larger boards, two cans are required because it is difficult to get all of the liquid out when spraying in an upright position. Perhaps a longer straw would be better?.
When you get the one shot squirt, you have to press it about 20 times to get enough product. I won't recommend or buy it again as long as it's made like this. In particular, a difficult-to-reach location.
Yes, the part that protrudes from the can and into which you insert the head. Who among us has never had the opportunity to use their $17 Deoxit can?.
I really like this stuff; I bought the red and gold cans, and they're both great for improving "iffy" connections. My only complaint is the sizing, as this can is smaller and contains less product than previous cans I've purchased, but that's my fault for not double-checking the quantity. I'd also like to see more manufacturers adopt Wd-Tech's "smart straw" technology, which Wd-Tech pioneered. For the price of the product, I expected more than a straw taped to the side of the can (which, of course, fell off and I lost it right away).
