'Yeah, I use it in my Hyundai just as I do in all my other cars.' I also use it with my Fords.
A bottle of transmission fluid is good for an average automobile transmission, from what I know.
A Toyota Highlander is different from any other internal combustion engine, so what makes it unique?
Transmissions of ANY type can be used with it. A successful experiment I once conducted was when I put a bottle in a 1963 Oldsmobile, which would go no faster than two to three miles per I only had to drink one bottle to restore it to its former glory. I sold the Olds several years later, and as far as I know, it is still running. Wouldn't have made sense to sell

This additive is used in all my vehicles every time they undergo a fluid change. The reason for your decision. As part of my maintenance on my 1994 Honda Accord, I used Prolong oil additive every time I changed the oil. My wife told me in 1998 that there was a lot of oil on the ground underneath our car after she came home from work. It was enough for her to notice it by before she stepped in, as she said I asked what the amount was and she said it was enough. Checking the oil level, I found that it was empty, and so I asked my wife, "Why didn't you call me?"? She said she did not think it was a problem and that she was able to drive while it was happening. It's not her fault that she chose to drive home over ten miles instead of calling me. It's not surprising to me that the engine wouldn't work. Having it towed to the Honda dealer, we were told the main seal was damaged and caused the oil to leak. What else do I use in my car? Is there anything else I need to do? According to the maintenance manager, there was not any other damage to the engine, but my wife would have distorted the engine had she driven the car as far as she did. It's just the Prolong that I use with every oil change that is different. I was asked where I purchased my Prolong and he told me to never stop using it. I paid nothing for the repair since the main seal was under recall. Definitely, I will use this product for the rest of my life. Thanks,.
It works at first, but stops working after a thousand miles or so. The high mileage MDX that I have had the transmission rebuilt lasted for 20K miles or so before it started slipping in 3rd gear a few months after the I had tried this and it helped for about a few hundred miles before it started slipping again, forcing me to shift into 2nd gear and then 4th gear manually. In summary, if your car or SUV doesn't have a severe accident, it can be repaired A fluid can help if a shift is occurring due to slippage, however it is definitely not a cure-all for the problem A car or SUV that has a higher mileage and uses an automatic transmission may suffer shifts and slippage.
No results have been obtained with any of the many I've tried. My belief has been sparked by this prolong stuff! Since my truck has 165k miles, I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to extend the life of the I was amazed at how smoothly my transmission shifted thanks to the anti-friction fluid! I noticed odd idle issues only when in gear when stopped at a stop light or when in drive at a stoplight. Many people don't realize that an automatic transmission can have an erratic idle, a lack of power, and other issues that one would expect to be caused by fuel, air, or sensor issues. A noticeable difference in the idle when stopped in gear and the overall smoothness of gear switching and engagement was noticed immediately. It worked so well that I purchased three more bottles of ATF +4 trans fluid to put in my transfer case, two differentials, and power steering system since my truck calls for this fluid for power steering. Get the stuff you need! Spend the money and get it!.
The "Prolong Transmission Treatment" is precisely what it sounds like. The fluid will not only offer protection to all the moving parts within your transmission, but it will also reduce friction, which causes heat, and heat is very bad for your transmission. As a result of this product, friction and heat will be reduced. Adding this feature will allow you to shift gears easier, as well as making your transmission run smoother. Suitable for use with all transmission fluids and gear oils, this product is compatible with new cars as well as cars with high mileages. In addition to that, I like to see products made in the United States. If you think it's worth a try, try their The other day I changed my oil, and I added a bottle of this so I could "be protected" for both my engine and transmission.
I've used it for The road trip was long, so I purchased some shoes for the road. We purchased both the engine and fuel treatment along with this product. I had 4 hours of driving ahead of me so I changed all three before departing on a twelve-hour We made significant improvements to our economy, and we slowed down our Prolong products comprised three of the three services I used, so the improved ecomony could be the result of combining them. Due to the fact that I did not change the transmission fluid, I expect better shifting to be caused by this additive. I am pleased with this purchase. The service was good, I would use it again.
It helps to have a little bit of relief when retired ASE Certified Auto Master technician. I have used and sold many lubricants and when I used Prolong, my transmission shifted smoothly and locked up a bit harder, so I assume this lubricant works on the seals, pumps, and moving hydraulic parts. For such a low cost, it is a good idea to use whether it helps a great deal or just works a little bit. The action is the same whether it takes a little or a lot of effort. The cost of a transmission can be thousands after parts and labor, but this is a cheap fix. It is worth it to make even a small difference.
Recent changes in its shifting cause it to jerk in drive at low speeds and shift roughly through the gears. Even though it isn't perfect yet, it is about 80% better than it used to be and smooth enough so that I can drive every day and not worry about damage. If I were doing a rebuild or major transmission service, I would add this before a flush and add it to the system.
Adding the Prolong to the system still shifts hard and late now after about a month. I've also noticed it now clunks (both hear and feel it), when coming to a stop since adding this. The tyranny was made worse by this. I'll skip this addition because it's a total waste of money.
