Questions & Answers

If I change the transmission fluid, do I have to add anything to the transmission fluid? Does tobtransmission need to be added directly to your account?

OK, in this case it depends on a number of factors. Therefore, if you haven't changed your transmission fluid in 35,000 or 40,000 miles you should drain the old fluid and replace it with new fluid and then add You should be aware that if you drain yourself, only half of the fluid will drain as 50% of the fluid will remain in the torque converter, so to drain this out you would need to add new fluid and then drive it a few miles before draining and replacing the fluid again. Adding thus will remove most of the old fluid from the system. Please note never overfill your transmission fluid, so if your Liquid Moly is 160z half a quart, you would need to put in a quart "less" of transmission fluid, and please do not overfill. In the event that you do not drain the fluid yourself, bring it to the shop. The mechanic will know how to proceed from there. As such, change yourself as noted above and add yourself to the existing fluid drain 16 oz and Please note that this additive should never be added to a CVS transmission. This Nissan-powered vehicle Regardless of the make and model, any car with CVS transmission is a choice! This may be of some help to you.

There is a statement on the bottle that it is for type II and III For 2002-2003, would that be okay As the toyota camry uses type IV atf, what should I do with it?

The following comparison of ATF 4 and ATF 3 can be found here. The recommended fluid is now +4. I brought up the score to 00 with a plus three. Even with a +3 embedded in it, the transmission will not self-destruct. An extended period of time was needed to achieve better performance in +4. Here is what allpar has to say The recommended fluid is now +4. Even with a +3 embedded in it, the transmission will not self-destruct. This oil was designed to perform better over a longer period of time. *br> *br> The goal was to create a fluid that would match the current oil's performance characteristics, but maintain Researchers have found that anti-virus programs play a key role in preventing STIs In many vehicles, the shudder properties of ATF+3 degrade to the point of being noticeable after 30,000 miles. In theory, ATF +4 will work with this product as ATF +3 and ATF +4 are fundamentally the same except ATF +4 is more durable. It is important to note that if you are using this product and haven't changed your transmission fluid in a long time, say 50,000 miles or so, you should do so because this product works better when it has new transmission fluid. Fluids in the transmission should be clean.

In spite of some blurbs claiming it to be compatible with a wide range of ATF, it only works with ATFIII-compliant ATFs However, most modern automatic transmissions use synthetic fluids that this additive is not compatible with, so it may cause serious harm. According to researchers, there are a few exceptions when using this additive in 'traditional' American vehicles. Take care to read this!

With a 3.0-liter Toyota 4Runner, it meets all the requirements. Should I drain any old fluid first or can it just be added into the 4L engine when it comes time to add this?

I have corrected the shuddering issues with my Mercedes ML350 2008! 11+ years old and developed a strange shuddering sound when it transferred power to the wheels
5/5

Almost all of the details of where and when it would happen were known to me. The first thing I did was change the fluids and filters. Mercedes marketed the 722, which is why I love it so much. This is a bit of a crock of BS to refer to the 9 transmission as "filled for life. " I drained the black fluid after the drain plug had been removed. This isn't a good sign. After replacing the filter and stand pipe, I used the air compressor to pump about 5 liters of new fluid into the system. It is not possible to get all of the oil out of my model without performing a complicated flush that is impossible without a drain plug. Then in a few thousand miles, I'd do another change, since I had already completed this change. seems to be smoother after doing all this (could just be my imagination), but there is still a shudder in the noise. It turned out that fluid change in a few thousand miles turned into two and a half years (best laid plans, etc. ). Every time I opened my mouth, I saw that annoying shudder. Several weeks ago, I finally returned to draining and changing another 5 liters of fluid (just a little brown this time), and added the entire tube of LiquiMoly ATF to the system. It takes just a few days for the shudder to go away and she shifts like a dream! Fresh off the lot as it was when it was first driven away! It is only anecdotal evidence, now I realize. However, I believe it is the LiquiMoly that cleaned the fluid out. Perhaps the second 5 liter fluid change lightened the fluid enough so that it cleaned itself out or something. Just changing half the fluid was not enough to cause such a dramatic change. It may not be to everyone's taste, but I'm My transmission was given a new lease on life thanks to it!.

The speed of the shift is smooth
5/5

I bought two tubes of Liqui Moly 20040 ATF Additive and used them after a transmission service. The transmission had a bump/hard up and I used the additive only after the transmission was serviced. The first shift will be switched to the second shift. There is the clutch on a Infiniti with 215k miles, whose transmission has been serviced every 30K miles by the I used ATF additives for the 11th time this year from two Liqui Moly bottles, which I used for the second time to add ATF to Enos ATF full synthetic. I have used 8 quarts of AFT during service and it has been 2000 miles since the trans service. I don't notice the bump or hard up after the trans service. It is no longer possible to shift.

This works great! As of now, I am the owner of a 2009 Hyundai Elantra with 135k miles
5/5

I noticed that the transmission shifting was a bit clunky but did not cause too much trouble. In reality, it was much more disturbing to notice that, when I was trying to accelerate on a hill, I was Even after having the dealer do a transmission flush, it did not improve in any way after 3000 miles. It is evident that after 500 miles of driving with two additional LiquiMoly ATF additives, shifting is I have not yet experienced any further slipping, so I'm happy to say that has also been resolved. My interest in LiquiMoly products has only grown in the last few years, and one would assume that this one will not disappoint. Additionally, their motor oil and gear lube, as well as their Ceratech friction modifier, are highly recommended. With 210K on it, the gearshift is more reliable than when I bought my 2009 Elantra with only 123K on it.

It makes shifting so much smoother now! Another great product from them! In my Transit Connect I have a 6 speed automatic transmission
5/5

It's a bit harsh and slow shifting, but it's the updated version. Whenever I moved from P to D or R to D, I was having trouble shifting. Furthermore, it would shift so slowly from 2nd to 3rd. This is one of the many problems we face with this transmission focus, fusions, transit connections, etc. Since my van was used for work, I did not know the mileage of the fluid. Although the shifting was slight better after I changed the fluid, it was only marginally better after changing it. My company was introduced to me as I am a Volkswagen/Audi enthusiast. This was added to the transmission when I grabbed a bottle of it. I was amazed at how smooth the transmission was within five miles. As we shifted gears, the abrupt shifts calmed almost to a halt. In addition, there are two lagging twos Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 A five-shift schedule is better than a two-shift schedule. As a result of the 4 After only one week of driving the van, 5 is now completely normal and fast. What an amazing change this inexpensive additive made to my transmission shift and drive. I'm glad I tried it.

It is just a matter of Liqui Moly products working
5/5

The 1990 Mercedes 722 that I drove 20 years ago has left me feeling very different. My 6 transmission shifting and operating. Changed the supposed lifetime fluid, put a new filter and added one bottle of this atf additive. It runs great. Will be adding it to my 2002 BMW on the next transmission service. Not everyone will have the same results as me, but it is good.

I have used Liqui moly engine additive many times, and I am very pleased with it
5/5

My wife and I used this in our Taurus from 2006. The first time I heard about it, I was sceptical, because it just added to the engine. However, I also used Liquimoly engine additive and found that it is excellent. We used this one in our 2006 Taurus that we call our generic mobile. It was our 3rd car that did not get driven 20 minutes after I added it, I saw a noticeable improvement in the way the shift happens. Now that it runs better than it ever has I no longer have to take it for a ride after sitting for some time. Although, I've always liked it running, now it runs It is for this reason that the Taurus is such a The book is highly recommended.

I only had to drive 100 miles to fix my power steering leak
5/5

The Ford expedition has 185k miles on it. This additive is of high quality. In the power steering system, there was a leak around the front seal of the pump and the swivel fitting on the pressure line. Pumping out the reservoir with a hand pump allowed me to remove the fluid. Following this, I poured the entire tube of additive into the reservoir and ran it for seven days. There was not enough fluid to fill the reservoir with the tube. It took about 100 miles to drive it. We are surprised that both leaks have completely dried up after 2000 miles and look like they will never return. Since I topped off the reservoir, the level does not seem to have decreased In addition to what I had on hand, I ordered more.
