If you don't lose anything, nothing is lost. The slippage is the reason I use it. I have not attempted to use it for my problem yet. I have used Berryman transmission conditioner in the past to repair a transmission that was so bad that it wouldn't shift until I added it and then worked as good as The product they make is very good.
