Product Description

Protects and conditions seals so they can stop current leaks and help prevent future leaks.
Agents effective against extreme temperatures and extreme pressures (EP) and anti-wear (AW) - maintain excellent metal-to-metal wear protection by reducing noise. Neither API GL-4 nor API GL-5 specifications require us to use sulfur, nitrogen, or phosphorus additives.
A friction modifier is used to help reduce noise and wear in addition to EP/AW additives. As a result, shifting is made easier in a manual transmission, as well as postraction axle chatter is reduced.
A performance booster that contains tackifying agents and multigrade viscosity modifiers that help keep oil in contact with gears and bearings where it can effectively grease them, especially at high temperature. Product can still flow even at very low temperatures when using Pour Point Depressant (PPD).
Specifically designed to work in all manual transmissions, differentials, open and posi axles and more, this product is manufactured in the USA. A seal that prevents leaks from the pinion, axle, output shaft, and other parts of the shaft. Grains, whines, and clunking are reduced and gears are protected.

The oil is only for use with car differentials, since motorcycle differentials specify oil for them. It should not be used for transmission.

As it is intended for use with the front and rear differentials, this is a system of drive. On both sides, there is a drain and fill port.

There may be too much damage to the diff
4/5

It seems I bought a 2003 Land Cruiser with front differential fluid leakage (front axel seals). When changing gear fluids, I discovered the leak. Twenty-five thousand miles may not have been enough time to change the front differential fluid. A fill plug is different from the other plugs in that it has a torx head. A hex appears to have failed to get out of the way and now appears to have become inaccessible. Regardless, the liquid came out as a gelatinous black goo when it was drained. There is a large tail of metal particles in the goo on the plug. There wasn't much fluid coming out, except for a small amount of black goo. As a result of changing the fluid, I noticed a leak and an annoying whining in the diff. While this product seemed to slow the leak a little, there is still whining in the kitchen. Fairness to all, I have not driven the vehicle all that much after adding the product. So I did not determine if more miles would be required as indicated on My rating is a 4 since it has done something to reduce the leak, though I am concerned that it may not be able to adequately fix the problem with a chemical. I also worry that the damage to the differential and seal may be too severe for one to repair.

I really did find it useful
5/5

Even though I know that these quick fixes usually don't work, I tried them anyway because I had nothing to lose. Years ago when I first heard the name BARs (in the 1970s), I was convinced they could help with a radiator leak, so I decided to try them out here. My classic car has a newer rear end and, for some reason, it makes very loud metal-to-metal noises when it is under very light load, for example when cruising or I was not able to sleep because of the noise. Then I gave the recommended amount 1/2 of the bottle, and then decided to give it a go with the whole bottle as it was going to only be a one-time attempt. a couple of short drives, we arrived at our destination after about 5 I have noticed that most of the noise has disappeared after driving 20 miles.

Cuts down a lot on the noise
5/5

Although it is still too early to tell if it stops a pinon seal leak, it certainly makes the differential quieter. My first impression of the product is that it is very quiet, makes me think that you would want to use it in something that does not leak to reduce the amount of.

I see that this is helping! In my Jeep Liberty, I had a small leak coming from the pinion seal of the rear differential
4/5

After using the entire bottle I did not see immediate results, but now after about 200 miles it appears to be dripping much less, so I am happy with the product. I also noticed a slight quietening of the gear noise as well.

A tiny drip of water did all the damage. Despite the drip, it is still very small.
