Yamaha ACC-FSTAB-PL-32 Fuel Stabilizer & Conditioner

I've been using this product for a few years now, and yes, I can tell the difference between it and Sta- Bil, the Star- br>br>WHILE ANY fuel stabilizer is preferable to none, Yamaha's is designed for heavy-duty use. This is what you put in your boat's engine when you're storing it for six months. br>br>With the exception of my car, I use it in EVERYTHING I own that has a gas engine. Mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, pressure washers, motorcycles, and gas cans (straight and mixed-fuel) are just a few of the items available. Everything is made of oil. There is a distinction to be made. br>br> br>br>Every time I fill up, I use this stuff. I fill up gas cans (ethanol-free, of course!) every time I go to the gas station. ) I supplement with Yamaha fuel stabilizer. br>br>I can confirm that this substance was found in the fuel tank of an older riding lawnmower that had been stored outside for 5 months during the winter. As Spring arrived, it brought rain, snow, freezing temperatures, and then some warmth. The lawnmower started up right away. br>br> There was no chugging or long cranking. I didn't even make it to the top of the leaderboard. I also have an older motorcycle that is carbureted. br>br>I also have an older motorcycle that is carbureted. It's always had a 'cold nature' to it. If the bike had been sitting for more than a WEEK, it would be difficult to start. I'd have to connect the battery charger for 2 weeks or more just to get the engine to start, and it'd crank over 10 times before firing. You might think it was bad spark plugs, a clogged fuel filter, a dead battery, clogged carb jets, and so on, but it wasn't. br>br>Once I started using this stabilizer, the motorcycle performed better than it had in the past. After 2-minutes, it would begin to work. Three cranks (rather than two) are required. Three attempts, but only two were successful. Three crankshaft rotations)! It would start right up even if I left it for a MONTH. My old bike sat a lot because I got a new one. It had been sitting for over a year when I discovered it. I charged the battery for about 30 minutes, and it started right up on the first try, with no hesitation. And this was the same motorcycle that had a hard time starting after sitting for over a week. That old motorcycle is where I first learned about Yamaha products. It was like night and day. br>br>ON THE FIRST TRY, EVERYTHING I DO BEGINS. Even some chainsaws with strange starting procedures (press the decomp valve, prime 5 times, choke on, pull starter cable 3 times, push choke in halfway, pull starter cable, etc. ) Huskys and Jonsereds, to be precise. ) They're going to start with the first one now. I just push the primer bulb a few times, put the choke on, and it starts after two pulls. And in some cases, the saw has been idle for over a year! br>br>I'm not claiming that Yamaha produces magical fuel stabilizers, but they do. This is one of those "snake oils" that actually works, and yes, it costs more than the red Sta- Bil is available at Lowe's or HD, and it is superior! br>br>I haven't done any scientific tests on this, but it works, and it works well. br>br>And, yes, I used a stock photo in this review because I'm not going out to the garage and photographing the bottle myself. Heh.

It's all too good to be true, right? This is a ruse; the first bottle of Yamalube I purchased for my bass boat was a thicker brown liquid that looked more like regular oil. This was the second bottle I bought, and it was identical to the first. Bil; The color is red, the consistency is much thinner, and it smells like Sta- Bil. I'm a big fan of the Sta- I used the Bil container for my Yamalube because it has a measuring portion on the bottle and is very convenient. Bil went into my motorhome to empty the new bottle, and he poured this "Yamalube" into it, which was the same stuff I had just emptied into the motorhome. I also have some Yamalube left over from my first purchase, which isn't the same. I don't usually leave reviews, but I don't want anyone to be taken in by this. If something appears to be too good to be true, it almost certainly is.

It's always difficult to tell if something works unless you ignore your motors and then use it. Aside from that, it's a matter of not noticing any issues, which I rarely do, so I think it's worth it. Is the price too high? Yes. However, unlike most products that claim to be better for their brand, word on the street is that YAMALube is actually better with Yamaha Motors than a generic product. That is not scientifically proven, but it has been approved by fishermen.

My four-stroke engine is a 200 SHO. It's a really cool engine with a lot of power over two strokes, but I've heard from several reliable sources that it's best to keep it on Yamaha products only.

I've had no issues with the engine on my 2015 Skeeter ZX250, which is a 250 SHO. With tournament load, it runs at 76 on GPS. I've been using this engine since I bought the boat new from the dealer, and I couldn't be happier. If the engine performs as well as it does with this, I will continue to use it. There are no issues with starting, and the engine purrs as if it were a kitten.
