As far as I know, I used this in an 87 S10 back in the early 90s with 75k miles. The oil consumption of the engine as a result of Slick 50 has gone down (one quart every 3000 miles) and fuel mileage has increased by two-percent About 3 miles per gallon. A total of 230k miles on the truck. The vehicle never ran out of oil, had any engine issues, or decreased its fuel economy. I would run it in any of my cars with no problems.
remember seeing an old Ford motor that had been treated with slick fifty run all day for 3 days on a farm, and it did not even have an oil pan. I suspect this was because it was overheating. There is some wear and tear on it, but it still works.
