The oil is a good replacement for Rockshox

This oil was purchased to rebuild my Rockshox front fork. The damper side of the fork called for 5wt, and I didn't want to have to buy two Rockshox 120ml bottles for the 134ml of oil I'm happy to report that the fork is working great so far! For the most part, I thought the oil looked the same in weight and color as me.

Compared to Fox suspension fluid, this product is cheaper

Due to the fact that I have multiple mountain bikes and service my own suspension, having gone through many bottles of Fox fluid they made, I decided to try this less expensive, yet just as effective alternative. There is no difference in performance. You have nothing to lose or gain if you want to stay with the manufacturer's brand, but you can save money, and you have nothing to lose by using.
