Questions & Answers

My 1987 Ford F250 diesel has a four-speed manual transmission. Do you think this will work on it and can the heater line remain in?

It was a very nice cap with a gasket. I have left it in the heater line. This is the way the system is designed. According to my guess, as long as the kit fits the hose, it The 1990 Ford Ranger truck was equipped with it.

Back in the 1970s, I would watch people use this kit, and the lights would dim and increase with using more and more powder The top of the radiator is spewing green diluted coolant. The product is designed to prevent spills, but what about liquid that runs down the drain?

To flush N Fill, drain your old coolant into a large drain pan first. Then follow the instructions on the inside of the This can be a very challenging task for those who aren't infected with old anti-virals On the ground, the water freezes. You're flushing in the old coolant mixed with the water when getting rid of the old coolant. If you are able to collect about ten gallons of water mixed with old coolant, that is. There is a lot of splashing coming from the water. You shouldn't worry about this if that concerns you. You should take a machine that can flush your car to a reputable mechanic.

How do I get this to work with a 2013 Jeep Sierra?

There is no need to get a new heater hose if your Jeep has 1/2, 5/8, or 3/4 heater hoses.

In the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pick up there is no radiator drain, so the lower radiator hose needs to be disconnected in order to drain the radiator. This kit would be a good option. ?

It wouldn't be a good idea to skip It is important that after flushing the toilet you drain the entire tank completely so that you have a suitable mixture of fresh fluid (not diluted with

It's that easy

It is functional enough, but it is not essential. The same thing this kit does can be accomplished by simply disconnecting your heater inlet hose and sticking the cut end of an old garden hose into the water supply inlet of your heater. A convenient location makes it simple to connect to our flushing system in the future. As well, even though the instructions with this kit do not mention removing your thermostat, it's a good bet that many people won't realize that they need to do so. This will lead to steam lock. Using this kit after flushing your system, your radiator will be empty of all fluids (if you follow the instructions carefully), but your engine block will still have hose water inside. I assume then you'll fill up all drains with antifreeze and cover everything up? The only difference is that your engine won't get heated up enough to prevent the thermostat from opening during that procedure. You leave only a small amount of water in your engine block, which will turn to steam when the engine DOES heat up. In this case, steam will accumulate on the engine side of your thermostat and cold antifreeze will accumulate on the radiator side. This causes your thermostat to continue to not There is an issue with your engine overheating and the heater ceases to work and you are unable to comprehend why this has happened. to avoid these issues, it is best to take the thermostat out of the furnace and flush it. In this way, all the hose water will drain from the engine when the thermostat is installed again. It will also result in a better flush. A few PSs The flush switch was installed in my parents' jeep so that they had an easier time flushing in the future if they had to entrust it to anyone other than me. The couple is 80 years old.

Worked like a charm

This is an easy-to-use program. I found it to be just what I needed. Because my old radiator was rusted, I wanted to flush it out in order to avoid rust in my new radiator.

Alternatively, if you would like to flush your system with tap water (once more read up on the pros and cons and decide how to proceed) you just need to do so
5/5

Having a discussion about flushing takes up a great deal of space on all kinds of car forums
The bottom line is I can say that this product does what it says. Splice your heater hose, not your hose of the battery A hose should be attached (under low pressure) You may need to hook up something to catch the water coming out of the top of your rad as you flush it. Yellow flanges are hardly universal, as they are visible only from one direction. In any case, if you are keen to flush your system with tap water (again, read up on the pros and cons before you make a decision)
will do the trick.

The rad can be flushed quickly and easily with this tool
5/5

In my F150, I used this kind of compressor when I flushed my radiator and cleaned out my heater coil. While I know that cutting your tubes adds more points of failure, the risk was justified for what I was trying to accomplish. For now, I can do a better job of flushing my rad and heater coil. form a very tight seal, and there has been no leak after 5 months of use. Furthermore, it is placed in an area where it would be easy to spot a leak if ever it were to occur.

Everything seemed to work fine
5/5

Wasn't sure how well it would work, but it did on an old rusted 95 Wrangler like a charm. The flushing kit allowed me to flush the system until it was clear in about 1/2 hour as opposed to having to flush the system through the rad drain plug 4 or 5 more times. I am very happy with this purchase. I left it in place to be used in the future. Because it's made of plastic, it'll last for a short time The temporary tap works great and is inexpensive and effective.

You can use this to flush the cooling system of all buildup

Kits like this are very handy. At the same time, I can flush the heater core and the radiator As a result, the engine could run cooler during the summer, while the air conditioner and your heater could be used during the winter, when your car needs to be warmer.
