My race car has a radiator, water pump, and aluminum heads that I bought at an aftermarket shop. There are no corrosion or leak issues.
For a typical car or truck, one bottle is sufficient.
In my 1954 / 1955 Chevy 3100 Pick-up, I use a bottle for each radiator flush, so I pretty much have to do it once a year. I usually buy a box of 6 since it is usually a better deal. It is my hope that this helps. I did a ton of reading before I began using it, as well as consulting with old timers and car mechanics. My systems seem to be coping with it well, so I will keep using it. IHK *br> IHK *br>
The water in your radiator must be sucked out of your radiator as soon as the engine has cooled and the radiator cap removed. Ensure the radiator is topped off and pour in the Bar's Leaks. You will know when it's gone through the water pump if you run the engine.

Pleased to give it. I ordered seven bottles to protect three engines for quite some time. It actually lubricates the water pump and keeps the coolant in the basic pH range if used annually. The operators of industrial heavy equipment assure me coolant does not wear out, but its lubricants lose their effectiveness over time, so they must be replaced annually. It's the same product they use, and now I also use it. In a daily driver nine year old Buick, water pumps remain functional for as long as 130,000 miles. As opposed to flushing and replacing coolant every year, this is much cheaper and requires less labor. My engine just got a bottle added to it it raised the pH by one level on the pH scale, making the engine Even after a year or two of pump lube treatment, the coolant was still base on the pH scale but was only a half step above neutral. You should avoid acid if you can!.
A long time ago they quit putting this in antifreeze You treacherous creatures. This must be part of my 1982 Trans Am, otherwise it will be my fifth water pump in a row. SIX STARS! I give it a strong recommendation!.
This is essential for a long life. From the factory, all new vehicles come with this or another manufacturer's additive. No one has ever told you this, and I still have no idea why. A water pump whose life is increased from this point on is more likely to last longer.
It's great value for the money. The rust inhibitors are used widely throughout the industry as a replacement for It is to be noted that the older the coolant is, the less rust inhibitors it contains (because they wear out). A flush and replacement of the coolant are both required. Add a bottle of this to the list. In addition to the rust inhibitors we've seen in new coolant, this contains them as well.
This block still had water in it. To check the amount, I check it for Make sure the coolant level is at least 80 percent, and change the thermostat whenever it gets too hot or too dry. There's no point to it.
DuPont's anti-microbial products have been used Over the past 30+ years, I have used rust coolant additives , and I expect BarsLeak to perform the same. Preserve and protect the cooling system and all of its components for a very long time.
These are the same ones I use in my old cars from the 30's to modern day cars today. You can use this insurance if your water pump is expensive!.
This water pump lube is relatively inexpensive for the quality it provides.
