Trust the Amazon part matcher at your own peril! The overall result is that these are a great fix for what I needed, but they weren't an exact match

In order to make my existing bushings and inserts fit, I had to trim them. My fault does not lie with Amazon's vehicle/part matcher, but with White Line.

The install took me less than 30 minutes while my Outback was on the ground (with I would say this purchase is a good value, as there was a huge reduction in drivetrain lash and I noticed a significant improvement in clutch pedal feel.

This fix fixed our differential clunk without tearing apart the whole rear differential and cradle

It was easy to install and fixed our problem. In order to get them to fit more smoothly, I slightly trimmed the square corners. It takes 20 minutes to do these, while you would have to do it all day. It was probably not the "correct way" to repair it, but it worked on a 17-year-old car with 230, 000 miles. The Subaru Legacy Outback 2 was released in 2001. The automatic 5 is on.
