I read a lot of reviews about this bike and did a lot of research on it. I agree with a lot of what has been said, and I would start by saying that if money isn't an issue and you have $2600, go buy a name brand at a dealer. I considered it for a long time, but ultimately decided that this was just a toy, and all I wanted to do was ride around my property. The package arrived on time and in perfect condition. Don't buy this bike unless you're at least mildly mechanical, and be patient with things like the manual, which are clearly written in a language other than English. When I went for my first ride after assembly, I quickly realized that the factory had installed the throttle cable incorrectly, and I had to reroute it by disassembling the carburetor. My throttle would go crazy when I made a right turn. Also, replace the crappy factory oil with a high-quality 10w-40 motorcycle oil. It will take about 5 minutes to complete. The factory carburetor, as many people have pointed out, was a disaster. It would only run on half choke and was unable to get off to a good start. It's not a major issue. As others have suggested, purchase a Mizuni carburetor upgrade for $35 and install it. I was able to swap mine out with almost no difficulty. The bike runs great now that the carburetor has been upgraded, with more power and no longer having any idle issues. You might enjoy this project if you are patient and enjoy tinkering. The bike runs great and I would give it a 5 on performance and ride, but I must be honest and tell people that you will have to work a little to get her running great. It's impossible to beat at $825 delivered. Man, load it into the cart! And go out and have some fun because you deserve it. br>br>Wanted to update. I've been riding on this bike for the entire summer with no issues. He is a powerful runner and rider.
For $800, this is the best dirt bike available. It's an excellent bike that outperforms any Tao Tao. It was only purchased for the purpose of having fun, not for racing. It was simple to put together; I completed it in about an hour and a half on my own.
My brothers and I each purchased one this week, as well as one more BLK that isn't shown in the photos. We've had a lot of fun so far. We're in our 30s, so get a bike, it'll be worth it. Make sure you have the Makuni carb 26 m on hand.
Delivery was very quick. My husband didn't even need the videos or manual to put it together because it was so simple. It got up and running quickly, and it sounds fantastic. It's perfect for him. He upgraded from a 70cc motorcycle (which he had since he was seven years old) to a 250cc motorcycle. He had never used a clutch before, so he was unfamiliar with it. He was jittery at first, but after a few attempts, he was able to shift into first gear. If I'm being completely honest, I believe my husband is a little envious of our 11-year-old son! It was well worth the money, and it was a fantastic deal! When I went to a dealer, they said it would cost $1400. I'm so glad I bought it here instead of elsewhere for this bike!.
I bought this bike on Amazon a few weeks ago and received it a few weeks ago. First and foremost, the instruction manual is a complete farce. It appears that someone took the Chinese text and translated it into English using Google Translate; some parts of the translation are illogical. What makes sense is nebulous at best. I finished putting the bike together, but one screw was missing and another broke in half in the process. They were supposed to send me replacements, but the ones they sent me were incorrect. I went ahead and attempted to ride the bike, but it was inoperable. The bike dies as soon as you try to fuel it. I've had several people who are experienced in riding and repairing dirt bikes look at it, and they all agree that there's something wrong with the bike before it's even been used once, so now I'm stuck with a mechanic who has to fix what was broken right out of the box. This is Chinese, and it shows. You get what you pay for. It's better to spend a little more money and get a reliable brand.
It isn't the best bike, but it is a fantastic value for the money.
It wasn't just me who was a fan. One of my friends has expressed an interest in purchasing it from me. The carburetor began to leak gas, and I had a minor problem. However, I've figured out how to fix the app issue. Everything is fine. It's a great run and ride. This bike is the best for the money I paid for it. br>.
