Questions & Answers

What is the reason that these seem to work great with some customers, but do not at all work with There is a great deal of variation in review quality. ?

The tires work, but if your tire has left a depression, you might have to dig away some mud or snow. With these types of products I have managed to get myself out of some bad situations. You have to get enough of this under the tire for it to grip the plastic. While these products provide good value for money, there are other products that are made of more durable and more expensive The downside is that they are more expensive. If they did not work for some people, it was probably because they did not dig enough mud or snow from under their tires to get them under.

Is each mat capable of supporting a certain amount of weight?

As long as you place the GripTrax on a flat surface, they should be able to handle any vehicle, including commercial vehicles. We do not have a weight capacity for GripTrax, but they can handle any vehicle including vehicles with high loads. Is it okay to use them with any kind of ?

This is a very good product (heavy duty plastic) at an affordable price. Having a set in your trunk is a must.

Does this product work with a motorhome that comes with dualies?

I would highly recommend it. In case I need them, I bought these. it came by last week just in case. I lost traction on a hill going up an off-road trail when my Jeep Patriot's tires (all 4) became stuck in loose sand. Four-wheel drive had already been engaged and did nothing to help. Nothing to worry about just turn off the traction lock and spin the tires to create some motion. Not at all. Okay, I will hook the catch- A short tree can be tied to the twig and pulled out with a long strap. The area does not have any trees suitable for planting. The Hopkins traction mats will come in handy! I was able to get the job done effortlessly. I drove right out of the parking lot after getting the Jeep moving. The tires had ample traction in the sand because the tires dug straight into the sand. Under the tires, be sure to get them and drive out as you drive You can't just gun it and expect them not to There may be a problem with trying to accelerate too fast for people who can't get them working. There is no way to do that. I like it because it's easy and simple to do.

Whether they are the best for the money is something I don't know
4/5

We have now owned two pairs in about 8 years. The first pair of these were used at least half a dozen times to get me and others out of stuck spots both in snow and mud before I gave them away to a family member and purchased the second set. The first pair of boots, according to my knowledge, are a little beat up but still work fine. Although I don't know whether they are the best for the money, what I can say is that I have no complaints and that they have done the job well.

Their services weren't up to par with mine

A refund was issued by the seller without a My order was delivered promptly to my home. I had to try the Grip Trax this morning with all the enthusiasm I could muster after the heavy snow yesterday. Driving home in my driveway got me stuck. Nearly 15 degrees diverge upward away from the house is the driveway. As I used the grips under my front wheels, the wheels on my car spun. When I changed wheels, I thought I was putting them under the back wheels. The wheels are still turning. In trying to get out of my driveway, I almost blew out my tires. As soon as I got to work, I had to leave. I am very disappointed that there has been no success. Neither my boss nor I were happy with the situation. I will be returning them. This is the end of the In any case, the Trax kept sinking into the snow I am not sure if they will come through the snow at all. Here's the latest My Amazon returns process with the seller was successful, and I received a full refund without having to return the product! The customer service was excellent, and the customer was very happy.

It does what it is advertised to do

My cousin got a set of these. Although it may not be the best choice for a Christmas gift (wrapped in a leaf bag and lawn bag), that's what I do. In any case, she's a very good driver, but she drives a Monte Carlo that isn't built to handle snow The first impression I had was that they were well designed With a rubbery texture and a surface that acts like a grip to grip the snow, as well as the tires. In order to write a review, I wanted to wait until they had been battle tested. In fact, this year when she was stuck, she pulled these guys from her trunk, stuffed them under the wheels, and they worked perfectly. A recent update My cousin and I helped load something into her car this past Christmas, and we found a set of mats that had not yet been opened. My first thought was, "I thought you used these things, but I'm not sure. ". The answer is a definite yes. "They are great. ", she replied. The second pair I've ever bought!.

Put the bullet in the place, Revise, Dodge it! Having tried mine on muddy, sandy, and snowy surfaces, I'm convinced they don't help, they're a waste of money, and they're scary when my tire has finished playing with them and ripped them off the surface and into the sky! If you need help towing, get better tires, get a 4x4 or hire a towing company

It was such a good decision to buy them

My friend bailed me out of a sticky situation. I recommend investing in this when you realize there's no way out of the oh crap moment. This is the first time I have used them over a year after purchasing As a result, I was not forced to pay for an offroad recovery when my vehicle became stuck during a quick diversion from a major road when I was not offroading. I have them cleaned and in the Jeep for the next time (although I would prefer not to need them. Their use did not result in any damage. It's great to be here. A Jeep Patriot 4x4 has been described as the vehicle.

Trash that is worthless

These things just curled up and dug in like shovels when I got stuck on a sandy beach. Having these with me in case I was stuck is all I needed to venture out. It was fortunate that my car is a small one, and that I had a passing traffic motorist pull my After that, I got to watch my niece dig these out of the sand.

Though they can be helpful, they break after a short period of time, and shoveling and pushing still have to be done
3/5

I used these four times in snow and once on ice with mixed results. They seem to help in snow, but did not work on ice (had to break off bits of ice with a metal shovel(board would not lay flat) before they were broken and left unusable. The snow plows do help cars get unstuck from snow, but not always on the first attempt. Although digging, relocating them, and pushing from behind the car are still required, this is less digging and pushing than having no boards or ramps Getting hit in the shins by one of them would be pretty painful so stay away from the front or back of the car if possible. Pushing the car from behind is also pretty effective slow throttle acceleration paired with a small push from behind usually gets the car caught. However, their price makes them really tempting to buy next winter even though they are small compared to other big recovery boards. However, you might want something flexible like rubber traction mats instead.
