Quad Lock Motorcycle Handlebar Mount for iPhone and Samsung Galaxy Phones

I installed it on my new dirtbike and was very pleased with the results. The mount didn't engage tightly with my Quadlock case at first, but a single layer of Gorilla Tape in the recessed mount on the case made it nice and snug, but not too tight. My first ride went fine, but on my second ride, I turned around to see if my kids were coming, and in the process, I accidentally hit my phone on the underside with my hand. My phone fell to the ground, which I thought was strange, but perhaps I knocked it out. When I went to reattach it, I noticed that one of the blue flanges on the handlebar mount had broken off, as had two of the tabs on my case. I slammed my hand against it and completely destroyed it. The case is $30, and the mount is $50. The pieces' plastic is simply too brittle to use. Quadlock should consider making some of their components out of metal, in my opinion. I haven't attempted to warranty it yet, but I plan to do so soon. And if they do, I'll update my review accordingly. Oh, and by the way, I've had Quadlocks in my other cars and on two of my bicycles for years. So this isn't a brand-new client.

The teeth on the mount part of the product were snapped by the vibrations on the bike, but it was a good product and well built. While driving at 40 mph in a straight line, my phone fell out of my hand.

I'm not sure if mine was faulty or not, but it's a great product. However, the first section that connects to your handlebars should be made of aluminum, and the rest should be made of abs/etc. On my Harley, I broke far too often.

Put an end to your search and purchase this system. For my new Street Glide, a friend persuaded me to get this system, and I'm glad he did because it's awesome. In all of my vehicles and toys, I believe I have discovered my new mounting system. For various applications, they provide a variety of mounting options. This review, on the other hand, will focus on the handle bar mount. br>As soon as I opened the box, I could see how it was put together. It's self-explanatory, but there are instructions for those who want to read them. For the handle bar portion of the mounting system, they offer three different mounting gaskets. The extension arm is secured to the handle bar mount by a teeth system that prevents it from moving. The Alan head screws can be easily unscrewed with the supplied Alan wrench if you need to adjust it. After that, you screw the phone mount lock onto the extension arm with another Alan head screw, just like before. And it's affixed to the wall. Easy as pie! I also purchased the phone case, which is only compatible with the docking hardware. It's a cinch to use. It's made it through the first 600 miles on my bike and hasn't moved an inch. br>It does not vibrate at all. br>It doesn't fall over and the phone is safe. br>Unlike magnet mounts, it does not allow the phone to move side to side or slide. Once it's locked in place, my phone won't move. br>br>Without the phone, the mount is very attractive and unobtrusive. It's sturdy and well-made, and the included gaskets for various handlebar sizes (which appear to fit everything from bicycle handlebars to fat diameter touring bike handlebars) are made of high-quality rubberized plastic. Once the mount is tightened down, they will not slip. The lock is a light blue color that shines brightly in the dark. I'd suggest a yellow or other high-visibility color, but it's not bad. When the phone is locked, the tab extends just far enough to be seen. But not to the point where it's annoyance. br>br>Packaging is straightforward and does not require much effort. You'll find everything you need inside, including the tool, once you open it up. Because the tool is small and not taped or secured, it may fall out when the parts tray is removed. br>br>The female part of the rotating lock system is integrated into the mold of the phone case, ensuring that it does not fall off. Quad lock does, however, provide a stick-on system for cases from other manufacturers. I decided against going this route because I've always believed that the weakest link in any mounting system that uses various brand cases is the case. The case is well-made and perfectly fits my iPhone 12 Max Pro. It has a protective ring around the lenses that is raised so that they are less likely to be damaged if you drop your phone. br>br>As a result, I am quite picky and scrutinize nearly every aspect of the products I review and the industry as a whole. For the purpose I chose it, this is an excellent mounting system. I paid what I believe to be a reasonable price, but it may appear to some to be excessive. I'd like to respond simply to those who say that. How much money have you wasted on failed attempts at other mounting systems? I believe that if you added them all up, you would have spent twice or more than you would have if you had gone this route first; this may seem like a bold claim, but I believe it is true. If you're a Vlogger who makes videos with your phone. This is also an excellent system to consider. Only the straight section of your handlebars allows you to adjust this on three different axes. As a result, mounting angles enable you to place your phone in the ideal position to capture the view you want. br>br>No review would be complete without mentioning the drawbacks; I honestly don't have much to say negative about this system, but I do believe it could be better. They're minor and insignificant in comparison to the positive aspects, but they're worth mentioning nonetheless. br>br>Color options are something I'd like to see. My bike is chromed out, so I'd like my mount to be chromed out as well. It would be nice to have color options for the locking trigger. A high-visibility or even a red locking tab, as previously stated, would be a nice addition. Place the tool in the package tray and secure it there. I'd like a slightly longer extension bar, but since I'll be replacing my handlebars soon, this may not be an issue. For the most part, the phone case is sturdy, but there are those of us who require extra protection. I'd like to see a more ballistic-style case with an integrated mount, similar to an otter or something similar. Overall: br>br> This case, as well as the mounting system, is well worth the money. There isn't much wrong with it that I can say. According to the package, their product is "the lightest, strongest, and most secure mounting system. " I would agree at this time, and I am once again pleased with my Amazon purchase.

I like how it's adjustable, flush, and securely locks into place. I can literally grab the phone and shake the entire bike and neither the mount nor the phone will move. I've ridden on the highway as well as rocky mountain roads without fear of it coming off. I don't have the optional stabilizer because I don't think I'll use it. While riding, I am perfectly capable of reading Google Maps. And yes, I did take a slow speed spill on single track and it held up just fine. It's a little pricey, but it's better value for money than the leading competitor, in my opinion.

This was only delivered to me a couple of days ago. Also, it arrived 10 days sooner than expected. br>br>It was very simple to set up. That was the case with my first concert. What a squeaky-clean appearance. With some tinkering, it did fit l. At first, I assumed they had sent the incorrect case. When it's in place, it's there to stay. I'm also excited to get my hands on a few of the extras. br>br>After a day of use, I only have one complaint. The power button should be placed in a more prominent location. I always forget about it when I'm wearing gloves and accidentally press the volume up button. I'm guessing all I have to do now is get used to sliding my finger up the side of the case from the bottom to find the right button.

I'll start with the only drawback, which isn't particularly significant. My phone has a clear screen protector, and when I put it in the case, it fits so snugly (which is a good thing), that it lifts the clear protector, causing a bubble. Now for the good stuff. . . it's incredibly simple to set up, only taking ten minutes. I also purchased the vibration attachment, which I am extremely pleased with. I was concerned that it would fall off, as anyone would, but I've gone well into the triple digits in mph without incident in the week or so that I've had it and ridden several hundred miles. Mine is mounted on a 2021 Ducati Supersport 950s, which, as you can see in the photos, has very little handlebar space. It does not obstruct anything and you are completely unaware that it is present. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and believe it is well worth the money.

After one ride, the mounting bar broke, and if I hadn't been paying attention, I could have lost my phone because the mounting bar had become unsecured. I do not recommend this product; if you don't want your phone to fly off your motorcycle, don't buy it. I ordered the vibration dampener, but it did not stop the vibration; in fact, it increased it. As a result, the entire system is a financial waste.
