This jacket, as well as the matching pants, was purchased for my husband. Finding a set that didn't make him look like a Power Ranger was difficult enough, so I went with a black and grey combination that seemed the least flamboyant or clownish. The pants appear to be fine, aside from the fact that I had to exchange them for a smaller size (from large to medium, the legs were fine but once you got to the back area, it made him look like an inflatable lawn ornament), but the jacket was a huge letdown. The front zipper jumped the tracks the first time he put the jacket on, and while we considered returning it, we decided to keep it because we assumed all of the jackets had shoddy made zippers. Even if he's standing on the side of the road in the pouring rain, he now has to pay close attention to how he zips it up. Now, once you've zipped it up, it DOES keep the rain out, and as long as that zipper holds, he should be fine. He attempted to pack his jacket using the built-in pocket when he was going on a trip. We weren't surprised to discover that the built-in storage pocket's zipper is just as shoddy, if not worse, and bursts on the first attempt. I'm extremely disappointed! Tourmaster was once a fantastic company where you could find high-quality gear at a reasonable price; however, like so many others, it appears to have 'outsourced' or made some other change to save money, and the quality has suffered as a result. I'm not sure we'll ever find rain gear that works, is affordable, and doesn't make you look like a Power Ranger again.
It's a nice and comfortable raincoat at a reasonable price, and it also looks good. When I'm riding in our Polaris RZR800 Blue Fire, it looks great.
It fits perfectly and comfortably, provides adequate protection, is light in weight, and has a stylish design. I was smitten with the jacket, and I was even more smitten with the price.
