The material is likely too thin to last over long distances, and the zipper leaks at high speeds, so it's not suitable for riding. However, it's a great option to quickly grab and go when hiking/walking around/parking lots from your car. For small storage, it easily collapses into its own pocket. My first one lasted nearly four years before the zipper broke, and now I'm on my second. It's not the most flattering cut, but I don't mind. What is the definition of a raincoat? br>br>It gets a one-star rating because it takes hours for it to fully dry before it can be packed back into its pocket. It's over twice as long as the rest of my rain gear.

This jacket is not even close to 100% waterproof; it is only rated to 3,000mm which will soak through within 2010min if you are riding on a highway. If you want to keep it nice, the viz color fades and shows dirt easily, so you'll need to clean it frequently. br>Save your $30 and put it toward a well-made rug. built a jacket with a genuine waterproof fabric, such as gore-tex or neoprene PU or tex.
