Questions & Answers

I am 5- What size do I need if I'm 10 pounds and 200 pounds?

I am 5- I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 155 pounds, so the large size is perfect for me. Extra large, most likely. A tapered fit is achieved by gathering the coat in the middle.

What size would you recommend for someone my height and weight of 5'11" and 165 pounds?

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to assist you in any way. If it's any help, I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds, and I ordered an xl size, which fit perfectly over some heavy clothing.

What size would be appropriate for me at 5'3" and 123 pounds?

Underneath the rain suit, you should be able to wear warm clothing. I've worn the suit twice now, and it's a good fit for me at 5' 11" and 180 pounds. I believe I am dressed to the nines. To some extent, it keeps one dry. A little water gets in around the neck, but that shouldn't be a problem if you wear a full face helmet and have some help dressing.

Is there any kind of heat resistance in the pants for cloaking the engine or exhaust area?

There isn't any heat resistant material because I ride an Ultra Classic and don't need it. You'll have to spend three times as much to get rain gear made of heat-resistant material. br>Great suit in the rain, but it doesn't let any air flow again for the price, and they've worked fine the two times I've worn them.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS SELLER! I WOULD GIVE THIS PRODUCT A ONE STAR AND THE SELLER A ZERO STAR RATING IF I COULD! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS SELLER! I WOULD GIVE THE PRODUCT A ONE STAR AND THE SELLER A ZERO STAR RATING IF I COULD! br>Let's start with the product: I'm a 6-foot-tall, 200-pound man
3/5

I usually wear a size L in most things, but this suit would be worn over other clothes, so I went with an XL. On first glance, the jacket and pants appear to be attractive. The bright orange and black colors were reminiscent of Harley's, and the reflective bands would aid visibility. The jacket is extremely tight around the waist with no way to loosen it (as another reviewer complained), and when you're seated on your bike, the jacket elastic band that should be on your waist moves up to your chest, with no hood or anything to protect your neck from the cold or rain. After zipping it, there's plenty of velcro to keep it closed. Even so, some water manages to get through. Aside from that, a basic rain jacket with a 2-star rating. Maybe three stars. Now it's time for the pants. They're a good fit for an XL, a little baggy (otherwise, getting them on over your jeans or other pants will be impossible). Even though it is easier to put them on without your shoes on, they have a good opening through zippers to allow you to put them on with them on. The zippers get stuck on the nylon fabric quite frequently, which is to be expected with this type of garment. Finally, an elastic strap holds them in place beneath your shoes. This strap is fine, but it causes your pants to pull down in some way, which you must do while seated on your bike because they become extremely tight and pressed down, restricting your movements. A slightly longer length would have been ideal; however, not only did they not keep the rain water out, but they also began to peel off in their interior double layer, as shown in the photos. Maybe it's because my boots are rubbing together? Not sure. As a result of one posture, one pair of pants has already been ruined. The worst part is yet to come: the dreadful Seller! br>The next day, I emailed the Seller to inform them of the problem, as well as the fact that I was on a three-week motorcycle trip across the country. Even though it had only been a week since I got them, and I had only worn the suit once, they wouldn t accept the return without a 50% restocking fee! Never before has something like this happened. I've been to ten different places. 15% restocking fees, and not frequently on Amazon sellers The vast majority of them offer a generous return policy. Many emails were exchanged explaining that the item was shoddy, was disintegrating, and that it had only been 10 days since it was delivered, but nothing had arrived. I said that for 50% one time only I would not return it, and that I would at least use the jacket for rainy days when not riding. I insisted on having the assurance that if I sent it back, I would get a full refund, not 50%. Finally, one of their "customer service" people Katilyn writes me back and authorizes the return with the 100% refund (I got responses from 6 different "agents"). Knowing this, I return it to Amazon using the prepaid UPS label they provide. The return has been received for a few days, and the Seller has yet to acknowledge receipt of the suit, despite UPS tracking indicating that it was received. They now say they will only give me 50% a 50% refund with 50% restocking fee again. They keep on telling me they will charge me the 50% restocking and won not move from that after many emails back and forth again and won not move from that after many e
Thanks to Amazon's amazing customer service and their A to Z guarantee, Amazon will refund me 100%, even though the Seller was 3rd party Seller and Amazon br>To sum it up, BRAVO AMAZON! I like your products and policies, so I'll keep buying almost everything from you, as I have for the past few years. br>br>WOW, TERRIFYING SELLER, "POWERSPORT SUPERSPORTS" (WHAT A JOKE! They shouldn't be allowed to sell on Amazon, and you shouldn't buy anything from them if you value your money and want to be sure you're getting a good product with a great return policy like you're used to with Amazon.

After a few uses, the inner waterproof layer peels away
3/5

Getting this suit was a big deal for me. The dimensions are adequate, and the design is appealing. BUT! The fabric isn't water resistant in the first place. It's the inner rubber layer that keeps it waterproof. After only three or four uses, the inner layer of the polyester fabric began to peel away, leaving a non-functional product. areas that are resistant to water During a rainstorm, all water from waterproof areas runs inside the pants, causing the non-waterproof areas to leak. There are areas that are waterproof! This is my second pair of these water-resistant pants, and both of them begin to peel in the crotch area, allowing all of the water to leak into my underwear. As a result, your undeware is soaked in water while your legs are perfectly dry. br>Rubber pants, such as Helly Hansen Voss pants, are something I'm experimenting with right now. I'm hoping they'll be successful. br>As for the jacket, I haven't worn it yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll have the same issue: (br>br>UPDATE 3/5/14br>The pants became useless in the rain because the lamination peeled off in the crotch region, allowing all water to flow inside; I replaced them with Helly Hansen Voss pants and was not disappointed. Voss is truly water resistant!.

It's perfect for rain, but it's a little too baggy for me
4/5

I had this suit for two years and rode thousands of dry miles with it with no problems. I am 5'4" and 150 pounds, and a size small fit me in length, but the arms and legs were too baggy for me. The fabric is long-lasting and repels water well. The bagginess of the pants makes it difficult to zip them up, making them difficult to put on. Both the pants and the jacket are extremely baggy around the arms and legs, even when worn over full leathers. After a ride where the jacket sleeve was torn, I'm looking for a new rain suit that will hopefully be less baggy.

This suit has left me disappointed
3/5

This rain suit has either poor manufacturer quality control or is simply a poor product. br>The first rain suit had a defect in the jacket seams. br>Amazon offered to send a replacement suit as a result of their excellent customer service.
The second suit arrived with the jacket in good condition, and I thought it would be fine,
but after using the pants only twice under rain, the inner waterproof% br>After a short period of time, a small amount of water penetrates the interior (not as much as with the pants, but still not good). br>br>I'm giving it two stars because I think I'll be able to use it in light rain. br>br>Overall, I am dissatisfied with the suit's quality. br>Amazon eventually gave this suit a complete refund. Amazon, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

RS- Joe Rocket 2 x Large Rain Suit When I received the item, I discovered that the pants were a little too big for me, but the coat was perfect
5/5

br>As a result, I purchased a medium Joe Rocket RS- 2 Rain Suit and a pair of pants that are just right for me. When it rains, the rain suit is used to ride a bicycle. br> The suit is 100% waterproof, but you must
wear a very warm shirt under the rain suit when the weather
is cold

Another quality piece of motorcycle gear from Joe Rocket that provides excellent rain protection at a low price
5/5

First and foremost, the fit is ideal for me when worn over a riding jacket and pants. If you're unsure about your size, go to Joe Rocket's website and look at the sizing chart. br>br>Next, I've ridden in a few heavy rainstorms with this suit and can vouch for its waterproof properties. You will, however, get wet if you do not wear rain gloves, boot covers, or a balaclava. br>br>In general, this is a good deal.
