Questions & Answers

Is there a rubber sole to prevent slipping on this boot cover?

That's correct. It's a harder rubber, which I assume is so that it doesn't wear out as quickly when you put your feet down (as you slow down to stop). I've never had any problems with mine, and I ride rain or shine in Michigan during the spring, summer, and fall. Seasons of autumn This is a good thing because the sole of these covers does not cover the heel of your regular riding boots.

Which size should I purchase?

I bought them for my son, so I have no idea. What is the size of my son's clothing? I bought him size 10 shoes, so that could be a guide, but I'm not sure what size I bought him. He likes them a lot.

If you don't mind mending them yourself, this is a good half boot cover
3/5

Unfortunately, only one winter (2012-2013) proved to be successful. 2013) light bicycle commuting (I worked from home last year), I pulled out my boot covers and discovered that the right boot had: br>* cracks in the sole (where you put your shoe in the back) - The reinforced stitching had created small holes in the plastic/rubber, which had obviously degraded it. br>* and the sole and boot fabric had separated for about 2 inches where the sole attaches to the left/inside (as you put it on - see photo). The reflector stripe is on the right side. )

Either of these problems could be normal wear issues but together they indicate poor design, materials and construction and reflect 95) on a new pair of shoes (with the same flaws as the old ones? I'll go back to my "Villager" or "Adventurer" overshoes because they're both still in good shape and I'll be able to walk in them once I get there - These half-covers collect snow, dirt, and water because they are only half-covers.

These boot covers are lightweight and keep your feet dry when you need them the most
5/5

My waterproofing suit is now complete thanks to these boot covers. The boot covers appear to be made of a sturdy material, but they can still be folded up into a small package. They cover almost the entire length of my calf, which is sufficient for wearing with waterproof pants. A thick velcro strip runs across the back and seals the bag nicely. The toes have been reinforced, so they should be able to withstand shifting gears. I expected them to be like putting your feet in a sealed bag, but the bottom of the heal is exposed, and the boot is held in place by an elastic band that wraps around your foot's arch. The bottom half of the boot, where your feet's balls are, has a thicker, rubber pad to keep your feet from slipping when planted. Despite the fact that I normally wear tennis shoes, I have been through several downpours and my feet have remained completely dry. I'll definitely buy another pair of these when or if these ever wear out. To cut a long story short, they pack down small and keep you dry when you need them most.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE AS THEY ARE OF POOR QUALITY AND PROVIDE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
3/5

IN CONNECTION WITH THE HORRIBLE QUALITY AND SUB-STATEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF SPENDING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS YOUR PRIORITY. br>br>I've been wearing these boot covers for almost a year, and I've noticed two major flaws: 1. br>br> They're only passable. The elastic band under the heel on one of the covers came loose and was dangling after only a few wears. I cut it off because I didn't want it to get tangled up in anything on the bike, but I've noticed that the cover now catches the wind more. But, more importantly, the boot covers began to tear at the seam that holds the velcro after less than a year of use. This problem has led me to my next issue. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Nelson- Customer service at Rigg is a pitiful farce. When the elastic band on the bottom of the cover broke, I contacted them, and they requested that I return the covers for inspection. Given the wet nature of Houston winters, I inquired if a replacement could be sent ahead of time so that I would not be without boot covers. They would gladly do so, but I would have to pay a fee to get an advanced pair. Keep in mind that their idea of an advanced pair is that I buy them online directly from them and that when they decide to replace the defective pair they would refund When I called to get a warranty replacement after the seams started splitting, I ran into the same problem. Before they could replace the covers, I'd have to send them in for inspection. I had to pay for an advanced pair to use in the meantime (which I didn't mind), but once they decided to replace them, they would charge me a fee and refund my money. br>br>THESE SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. IN CONNECTION WITH THE HORRIBLE QUALITY AND SUB-STATEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF SPENDING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS YOUR PRIORITY.

This is a fantastic addition to your raincoat collection
5/5

These items are fantastic! They help to keep your feet dry and comfortable. They also have canvas on the side facing your bike while riding, which prevents your rain pants from melting on the exhaust.

Keeping your feet dry is a good idea
4/5

The back strap, in particular, is a little too tight. I ordered a Large because I'm a size 11 and believe an XL would have been a better fit, but that could be due to my specific boots. On the plus side, they fold up small and fit in my saddle bag with the rest of my rain gear, allowing me to bring my entire rain gear set with me wherever I go.

Boot rain covers that are quite good
4/5

I don't ride in the rain very often, so I only get to use them once or twice a year. To ride, I wear a size 11 and doc martins, which fit perfectly and keep me dry in the rain and traffic. They fold up nicely, which I appreciate because I keep all of my rain gear in my saddle bag in case I get caught in the rain.

These appear to be successful
5/5

Finally, I was able to put them to the test. After buying them almost a year ago, I was forced to use them due to heavy monsoon rains. I was able to keep my boots dry. Because that portion of the heel is open, it was wet. But, in the end, it satisfied my needs. They didn't interfere with using the foot pedals. br>br> They're also simple to pack.
