We just got back from a 3 day, 700 mile ride with about Despite heavy rain on the first day, the suit kept me dry and comfortable in comparison with some of the other riders around me who had troubles with their suits. The heat resistance feature simply didn't appeal to me since I was only riding in temperatures around 60 degrees. When it was in the high seventies, however, the suit was borderline too warm even though it kept me warm at that time. The overall quality of the garment seems to be good and it certainly keeps one dry, so I would highly recommend.
When I put on this rainsuit as I left work, I was expecting it to rain. In that sense, I was very excited. The storm began very light until I was about a few minutes from home, then it turned into a torrential downpour that lasted quite some time. This thing fits great, it has velcro and there are several places where it can be tightened for a It actually works quite well for the money, so I would recommend it to anybody who might get stuck in the rain, no matter how much rain or how little it starts to fall. It might also make sense to go up a size or two so that it fits over any armored jacket you may have. The suit might get a little warm at times, since it is not the most breathable, but you have to make a hard decision do you want to be dry and not have much airflow, or do you want more airflow (which in the rain turns to There was a good chance that the suit would have been a complete hit. On the butt of the pants, there is sort of a weird patch of a different material, which provides some flexibility and maybe even ventilation. Except for two parts that are vital to my survival, my nuts and my buttocks, I am practically dry. To have the rest of yourself dry is a pretty small price to pay compared to what you would pay if you were wet. If you would like a change of underwear and pants, then do so.
She could fit in this thing if she were 5'5" and 100 pounds! That is really off! The sizing is off by a lot! For the rain coming my way during this week I ordered rain gear ahead of time to make sure I could make it back and forth to the office without getting soaked. Now is not the time for that. It is very disappointing and upsetting for me! In the case that you plan to buy this product and you are 5'8 or 200 lbs, order a xxxxl.
My wife and I, both 5'7" and 5'10", are average heights and weights, so we can comfortably fit into a large size. We will still be able to wear a winter coat underneath, no matter what. The thin jackets that we wore beneath our suits fit perfectly underneath the suits when we got caught in a downpour several nights ago. However, I remained dry wherever else I was - my shirt got wet at the front, but dry everywhere else I was- Although it was a softail with a windshield, the driver was still getting hit by the wind pretty hard. It stayed dry for a long time for her. I like the solid feel of the material as well as the well-made appearance of the suits. This top comes with a hood so you can cover your neck as well. Buying again would be a great idea.
The rain suit is medium weight and comfortable. It is provided with a bag that can be stored conveniently in a saddlebag. A reflective color is a plus when it comes to With a two-piece set, you can easily dress up in a hurry.
A hiking trip in the rain went well for me as I was dressed in the rain gear. Though I did not get wet from the rain, it did not breathe as much as I thought it would, so I was nevertheless damp. A big problem is that the sizes are too Although I placed an order based on the recommendation, the jacket and pants were a little too big for me. The pants may work if you wear them over bulky clothing, but for me, the size was too large.
Purchased this rain suit and I am very happy with it. My husband has planned a fishing trip in Seward, Alaska, in spite of my preference for the beach. I read reviews of this suit and bought it after reading it would be chilly and rainy. The experience was certainly not disappointing. I guess you could say it was very rainy and cold that day. Due to the fact that we would be on the boat for more than 10 hours, I wore layers (yoga pants and a sweatshirt). This is a very well made, warm and dry bag, the Velcro closures are stiff and it doesn't let moisture in at all.
Unfortunately, the size of the shirt is incorrect. My husband is 6'1" and I ordered a small to fit him.
