Questions & Answers

Is it possible to estimate when medium and large sizes will be available? Isn't it possible that they've stopped making them?

Next week's episode will be available. Please return on Thursday, April 20th.br>Thank you.

Is it going to melt when it comes into contact with the exhaust?

On a red-hot stove, I'm sure it'd melt. I've only worn mine once, but it appears to be in good condition. Heat resistance in a rain suit is similar to water resistance in a watch: it doesn't want to, but it will if the conditions are bad enough. Take precautions when driving.

Will you be restocking a size medium for me?

Yes. By the middle of September, all sizes will be available. Thank you, br>

Order a size up if you plan on wearing it over a jacket
5/5

However, it appears to be a good raincoat option! First impressions are fantastic! This suit appears to be a fantastic buy! The seams are all taped and sealed, and the whole thing is very well put together. a long zipper with a nice velcro-fastened rainflap Ankle seals have a lot of give, but they might be a little tight to wear over riding boots [I'll have to experiment with that]. Wrist tabs appear to be large enough to wrap tightly around the wrist. The sizing is true to standard clothing sizes; I ordered an XL and it fits well over jeans and a shirt, but I expect it to be tight over a jacket if needed. The lining is soft and doesn't feel clammy against my skin, but I haven't worn it for a long time. br>On the downside, it lacks the heat-protecting leg guard for the exhaust pipe. br>Overall, it's a piece of gear I'm hoping to never have to use and that stays safely tucked away in my saddlebag. For the money, it's a great purchase. br>br>A few weeks have passed, and I've had a long weekend of riding. br> This is an excellent raincoat! It is both comfortable and simple to put on. even on top of boots It kept me dry (except for down the collar) and fit over my leather jacket perfectly. br>Contrary to popular belief, there are some drawbacks to owning a car. br> It's a little awkward to get in and out of, and there could be a few more external pockets.

The sizing is on the small side
3/5

This suit appears to be well-made and durable, and I was looking forward to wearing it, but I received exactly what I ordered the suit in a 3x size, which according to the product description is up to a 54 inch waist, and I'm a 44, so because this would be worn over street clothes, that size should be perfect,,, nope the suit was so small I couldn't even zip it back up, so I'm guessing the 3x is about a 38 to 40 inch waist size.

In terms of sizing, I agree with the other reviews
5/5

My height and weight are 5'10" and 220 pounds, respectively. On my dress shirts, I have a 35" sleeve length. This suit's sleeves are long enough for someone with a sleeve length of 40 inches. When it rains, I'll just use my sleeves to cover my hands/gloves. br>I'll also mention that if you want to keep rain out of your crotch area, make sure the inside flap is in place and the Velcro is fully attached. Although I believe this is self-evident, I was once in a hurry and my pants were completely soaked. Aside from that, the quality is satisfactory to me.

Arms and legs that are extremely long I chose size Medium based on my chest size, and while the torso section fits perfectly, the arms and legs are too long for me, causing my ankles and wrists to bunch up; this is where I deducted a star
4/5

br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Having ridden in the rain on several occasions, I can attest to the fact that this is. well. Unless you don't do the velcro correctly, in which case you'll end up with a wet crotch. I've tried it a few times (mostly by accident), and careful velcro application ensures a dry crotch. Furthermore, because my winters are mild (gulf area of Alabama), this doubles as my winter kit. I've been fine in temperatures as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit (four degrees Celsius). 5°C), and there's still a long way to go. In the legs and arms, it's still quite long.

It works like a charm, by the way
5/5

This was purchased in order for me to crawl through a drainage ditch beneath an industrial linen wash tunnel. Laying in three I stayed completely dry despite being surrounded by 4 inches of flowing water, squirming around removing and installing hoses and clamps, and being rained on by drains and overflows. My head was kept dry even with the hood on. Because my leg ends at the ankle, I have to be cautious. I need to be aware of those things when crawling because the elastic keeps it firmly around my water boots, and I'm wearing dishwashing gloves over the sleeves. I couldn't do anything about the neck, but I'd never had a problem with it before. I was (and still am) extremely pleased with the suit's performance.

Make proper use of the velcro
5/5

Three years ago, I purchased my very first suit. I'm currently working on a review that was not solicited. br>br>I still have the first suit, but I didn't want to be caught without one, so I bought another. I always keep one at work because I ride my bike to work and don't want to be caught in a Florida downpour, which this suit can handle if properly velcroed. br>br>I'm 6'2" and 210 pounds, so an XXXL fits me perfectly. It can only be worn with a shirt underneath for me.

Rain suit with a lot of coverage
5/5

This thing is colossal and sturdily constructed. According to the sizing charts, the sizing was correct as an oversuit for my size, but the legs would pull up above my boots. These gaiters were also purchased by me:  .

This is my first raincoat
5/5

It's made of heavy-duty material with a separate internal liner to keep the outside rain suit from bunching up on your clothes, which is crucial for preventing the suit from ripping. This also helps with ventilation, as a rain suit that does not vent will stink. I don't anticipate rips in the crotch area because the seams appear to be well sewn. This is a huge step up from Tychem suits, which I was able to get by with. Because it is so compact, I still keep a Tychem under the seat for an emergency rain suit, but this is a proper rain suit. br> I'm also curious how this will help with the cold and how layers of clothing will work inside a 2X size (though the cold in California isn't that bad). br>My first impression is that I spent a lot of money, particularly on the freeway safety neon green.
