The waist can be adjusted, so go by your thigh size rather than your waist size. I have a 34-inch waist and a 20-inch thigh, so I ordered a small and it fit perfectly. Make sure to check the sizing chart for the chaps you order. "DETERMINE WHICH SIZE IS FOR YOU:" says their website. We recommend that you measure the thickest part of your thigh with a measuring tape while wearing your riding jeans in order to get the correct size for your chaps. The following are the measurements in inches and centimeters: S is for 22-inch thighs, M is for 23-inch thighs, L is for Large, XL is for 25-inch thighs, and 2XL is for 26-inch thighs.

I'm 32 and chose the 30 inch waist, but since it's just a belt around your waist, I could have gone smaller. I think the main deciding factor is how tight or loose you want your legs to be. You can cut it to length as it states. Because the cuff has no stitching, cutting it would not alter its appearance. br>I am very pleased with my purchase for the price.

I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 160 pounds. I'm 21 years old. I was a little afraid to order because of all the different size recommendations people were saying in the questions section, so I just ordered off of the sizing chart in the picture. I decided to order a Small, which I was afraid to do because I saw no reviews or answers about someone actually having that size, but I'm glad I did because they fit very comfortably, have enough room to move, and even wear a couple layers under my ribbing.
My first pair did not fit the vendor's size chart; I took measurements as directed and ordered from the chart, but the chaps were too big. The company was excellent and made a simple and painless exchange for a smaller size. Unfortunately, the second pair sent was the same size as the first - Instead of sending me the next smaller size, they made a direct exchange. br>Because it was time for some serious riding, I decided to keep the oversize chaps and make my own modifications. br>As for the gentlemen, they are as follows: The leather is of good quality and is well-made. The snaps are a little stiff at first, but they'll loosen up with use, and I'd rather they start with stiff snaps than easy snaps. The seams appear to be extremely durable. They were stiff the first time I put them on, but after a good working-out session, they became much more comfortable. They're now a lot softer and more comfortable thanks to the leather conditioner. br>I would definitely recommend these to biker friends, and in fact, I have already done so to one.
I'm 5'8" and weigh 173 pounds, with a 31x30 jean size. br>The thighs are a little tight, but I find them to be quite comfortable. br>The length was adequate, but these are my first chaps. So, here's how they're supposed to work together. br>br>The belt buckle and waistband were high on the waistband - Basically, it's on the top of my belly button. This ensured that the material was smooth all the way down to my ankles, with no bunched areas or excess material gathered. It felt right because if I had pulled them lower to get the buckle closer to my jeans belt, there would have been bunching all over. br>br>Given that I wouldn't want two belts on top of each other, I was fine with the higher position. br>br>I'm not sure where the belt was supposed to go, but it ended up a few inches above my jeans. br>br>Looking at the photo, it appears the model is wearing the chaps belt over his jeans belt/waistband, so I'm guessing it's a little shorter than intended. br>br>Oh well. They've met my expectations.
We were unsure about this product due to mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a try. We ordered an XXL for my husband, who is 6'2" and weighs around 230 pounds. They were made to go together. br>While the leather is thick, it is not stiff. The length is a little long, but we'll shorten them once they've been broken in a little more. Zippers and snaps are excellent. br>My only criticism is that they are impossible to put on without assistance. You can't get to the zippers and snaps because they're too far away. You can, however, remove them on your own. I believe you could start the zippers and then step into the chaps to put them on by yourself, but if you put them on around your waist first, you'll be stuck. br>We are extremely pleased with this product, which is far superior to what we expected.
It's large enough to hold cash and credit cards. You know how difficult it is to reach your Jean's pockets while wearing chaps! The pocket on the outside is fantastic! The waist can be adjusted to fit you perfectly! Only your thigh needs to be measured! For the price, the leather is of excellent quality and thickness; everything similar that I've seen costs at least $50 more. You will not be disappointed.
My size is usually Large on most, if not all, of my orders, regardless of the seller or type of clothing (ie. I am 5'8" and weigh 165 pounds, so I need jackets, pants, and shirts, among other things. I wore Levi 505 jeans underneath these and the belt was at the third notch from the end of the belt (there are six notches) I can put it on the fourth for a tighter fit (not too tight and also comfortable for me) if I choose. br>br>In the thigh area, I can easily slide my hand into the area, so it's not too tight on me. My thighs appear to be about 21 inches long (as best as I can tell; most people's thighs are probably on a sliding scale? ) I wore them on a Harley Ultra and found them to be extremely comfortable. br>br>The length is a little long when standing in them, but when I'm riding my bike with my legs bent, they're right where I want them and should help to cover the tops of my shoes if it rains. Because my new Riding Boots haven't arrived yet, I haven't tried these on with them. When snapping the snaps at the bottom, they appear to be a tight fit with my 10 inch tall boots (I'll know in a day or two). However, I don't mind leaving one or two of these unsnapped. My inseam is approximately 30-inches long (as measured by me). 31 inches in length br>br>Having worn them for about a year, I can say that they are comfortable. 2 HR. a 60-minute ride I am very pleased with this purchase; I have looked at a number of different chaps and after wearing them, I believe that this was/is a Great Value for the Price when compared to others available. br>I had to edit this because I had said I ordered a Large when I actually ordered a Small, which fits me perfectly. br>br>Another Edit: I received my new riding boots, which are 10" tall Harley Axel Motorcycle Boots, a good sized boot with no problems snapping the snaps, in fact it makes it easier because there is less flexing of the material, so the solid boot reinforces the snapping process, if that makes sense. br>br>I couldn't be more pleased with the Chaps I've Ridden 5- The temperatures have been in the 60's for the past 6 rides, and the majority of the rides have been over 100 miles. They are extremely comfortable to wear and look great.
