A pair. These are fantastic. When I parked my bike, it worked perfectly!
Straps are attached below the knee but above the calf muscle, with a second strap attached below the calf muscle. I used them for dirt biking and found that they held up well. Just remember that this is beginner's gear. They stayed in place thanks to my dirt bike boots.
They're way too strict! br>They did not appeal to my son.

They are successful. Good: These were purchased as light knee protection for riding a motorcycle, and they were worn during a lowside-and-slide on the highway, sandwiched between a pair of BDUs and a pair of Carhartt unlined overalls. The one who had taken the slide had been obliterated - After the duck overall failed, the lower strap wore through against the asphalt - They did, however, provide excellent security, and I was unharmed as a result. To be honest, it performed far better than I had anticipated from unrated gear. br>Bad: Because the patella protector has no upper strap, you must wear it under a fabric covering to keep the armor in place, and they don't appear to be very comfortable, so I always wear them over fabric. They have a tendency to drift when worn for an extended period of time. You'll be fine if you keep in mind that this is unrated protection that must be sandwiched between fabric layers.
I bought these to protect my knees and shins while pitching softball. They fit perfectly under my slacks and provide coverage for the areas I require. I almost forget I'm wearing them because they're so light and comfortable. I've read a few reviews that complain about the lack of a strap above the knee, but I don't think it's necessary because these are designed to be worn under your pants, and two straps around the shin are plenty. I haven't been directly hit yet (and don't intend to if I can avoid it), but they appear to be the ones who will bear the brunt of the damage. Overall, I believe they are a good investment.
They appear to be of good quality for the price, and the guards perform admirably. They appear to be of good quality for the price, and they fit well under regular jeans and are barely visible when standing or walking. It would be nice if the straps were a bit longer. The top strap is just long enough to reach around and secure on my muscular legs with very large calves. The straps are elastic, so they work, but I have to stretch them a little further than I'd like, which means they're a little too tight. It works fine for a couple of hours, but I'm not sure if it would become irritating if I wore them for an extended period of time. I would have given them five stars if it weren't for that. I'm sure they'd be fine for anyone with calves of average size.
" "To return it, you can contact. Beware- br>It resulted in a nasty chemical reaction, a burn, or a rash. br>I reached out to FOX/Shift for assistance. There was no assistance at all. br>I was given the following response: "Yes, we've had problems like this before. " " "Due to the rash issue, you can contact to return it to the seller. ".
I'm not sure what $115 guards offer that these $15 guards don't. They're soft and breathable, and they get the job done. I've been practicing bunny hopping and 180s on flat pedals with small metal studs, and they've survived every hit so far.
The topmost section, which should cover your knee, is completely exposed. Only two velcro straps are used to secure your calf. If you wear this on the outside of your clothing, the knee protection is very likely to slip away, exposing your brittle knee joints. To help keep the armor in place, I recommend wearing it next to your skin and underneath some loose, durable pants.
These were purchased as part of a costume and fit perfectly. I'm a 5'11" 250 pound guy, so I'm not exactly a stick figure. These are very comfortable and fit around my legs without any difficulty. br>br>I hope this review helps those who are unsure about purchasing these. Finding good shin guards at a reasonable price for my costume was a challenge.
In my opinion, there should also be zombie riot gear. These have exceeded my expectations! And if you're looking for a set of arm and leg pads that go with your black motorcycle and helmet and make you look like a super hardcore SWAT team, THIS IS IT! I'm 6' 220lbs and ordered two pairs of these, tied a knot in the straps on ONE set for my forearms and elbows (they also cover the wrist bone but not in an uncomfortably so with gloves or without) and left the other set as is and they both fit perfectly, first thing I did was trust fall forward onto my tile floor in a boxing stance with these on my forearms, now that I'm 220 pounds coming down from 6 feet not Plus, one saved my kneecap and most likely a wipeout when I was going 80 on a huge turnpike on my Ninja leaning all the way sideways hanging off the bike knee out, chest tucked down over the tank, and going through the deepest part of the turn my knee scraped on the ground over a rough patch of concrete (usually get my knee about an inch off the ground in those fast turns) if I hadn't had these on with zero friction plastic that SLIDES across I can't stress how important it is for all of you hoonigans to purchase these.
