It has a lot of zippers to allow for airflow! It also comes with a liner that can be removed! br>However, good protection comes at a price, and I don't think you'll be able to find anything that will keep you cool on a very hot day! br>However, I was so pleased with the jacket that I ordered two more.
It's semipermeable, so even a torrential downpour won't drown you.
Ride in leather if you want to stay safe.
Hello, I recently purchased a jacket with a zip out lining that looks very similar to yours. I'm 5'6" and the size is "Large." The sleeves are probably a half-inch too long, but the wrists are fastened with Velcro, so it's not a big deal. issue. My advice is that whatever size "windbreaker" jacket he wears should also be the size of his riding jacket.

To begin, I am 5'11" tall and weigh 196 pounds. br>I have a good shape (small belly), broad shoulders, 43" chest, and 36" waist. br>I ordered the XL (as I usually do for any shirt, jacket, or coat) with Blue Stripe (the blue stripe is much darker than the photo depicts). br>It looks great, and it fits perfectly without the thermal liner (not too tight, not too loose), but it is a little tight around the arms and top of shoulders with the liner (to be fair, I was wearing a t-shirt). On top of that, I wore a button-down workshirt. br>Because the material is new, it will need to loosen up and become more flexible over time. br>I can't comment on the water resistance at this time, so I'll save that for a future update. br>I'll nitpick and say that the arms are a little long for me, but thankfully it has velcro style wrist straps that allow me to snug it up enough so it doesn't overhang. br>To say the least, for the price, this is amazing; I honestly didn't expect it to look this good in terms of fit and finish. Though I haven't tested it outside, it appears that it will not be very cool in the hot summer weather (I WILL be testing it out this weekend with the 105° heat index we've been experiencing here in Florida this week). If everything goes well, I'll order two more colors so that I can change things up every now and then. br>br>So, for the time being, I'd say DON'T WAIT and order one. Again, I don't have a large waistline, so aside from the sleeve length, it fits perfectly for me.
Here are my thoughts after a week on the road in Colorado:br>1. The jacket is extremely well-fitting, with precise sizing and armor that sits comfortably on the bodybr>2. The material is much better than previous HWK products, and the construction isn't perfect but adequate for the price. br>3. Pockets, vents, Velcro, and zippers are all at the price level. br>4. The weight was a little lighter than I expected, so I don't think it'd be safe for a highway slide; instead, it'd be best for in-town slides at slower speeds.
5. I liked the collar because it was simple to use and comfortable to wear. br>6 It's not even close to being watertight! Not even resistant to water! During my trip, I was soaked six times. After three hours of normal Colorado afternoon summer showers, the jacket was soaked. The time limit is five minutes. It dries quickly, but if you need a raincoat that will last, look elsewhere. br>Finally, some thoughts; It will be my go-to in-town jacket. I really like it, but due to the limited durability/protection and waterproof issue, I won't be able to take it on a road trip.
When I placed my order, I was a little hesitant, but with so many positive reviews and Amazon's excellent no-hassle return policy, I wasn't concerned. br>br>This jacket has left me speechless! The quality is excellent, comparable to jackets costing five times as much; it's well-designed and made of high-quality materials. I've had no problems with mine, and I've worn it in temperatures ranging from 25 to 80 degrees. In cold weather, the liner makes a significant difference. Even with the air vents open, this jacket is on the warm side. I'd say this jacket shines in temperatures of 75 degrees and below (disregard if you spend most of your time on the highway). Summer riding jackets are available from HWK. I'm also planning to buy one. br>br>I usually wear an XL and ordered an XXL based on the size chart; I think the XL would have been fine, but the XXL fits perfectly and I have no complaints.
But, even though I adore this coat, I've had the zipper for a month (see photo). For a coat that cost more than $30, I had high expectations. Although there is ventilation, I couldn't wear this coat in Northern Michigan at 82 degrees. For myself, I'd say 80°F. Anything hotter would be too much for me. I can't wear it because it's too hot. Without the liner, this is what it looks like. I was dressed casually in a tank top. My gf is 5'6" and weighs 280 pounds, and a size 4 didn't fit her and she couldn't zip it up. I understand that this is a men's coat and that it isn't designed for a woman's chest, but I'm 5'1 and 240 pounds. The coat fits me perfectly with a little extra room, which I like; it's a little long, but I was able to adjust it with the straps. It's obvious that it's made of durable materials. It would be even better if there was padding in the front. Yes, knowing what I know now, I would buy it, but not for wearing in the summer. This coat can withstand a lot of wind. 2 thumbs up for the rain! Finally, the coat's front does not have any padding.
This is an excellent jacket for the money; I have it in high visibility and love it. My only complaint is with the size chart, which indicates that I am a large. Because the large was too big in every way, I switched it out for the medium, and BOOOYAKASHA! br>br>I am 5'9" and weigh around 185 pounds, and the medium fits me just right. br>br>With the liner that ZIPS IN, this jacket is warm and windproof. I tried on a Dianese jacket with a snap-in liner that literally fell out every time you took it off, which was extremely inconvenient. I can't say enough good things about this jacket for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.
My height is 6'1" and my weight is approximately 242 pounds. I ordered a 2XL and it fit perfectly; it was a little snug, but that's to be expected. The color scheme and design were both excellent. A zip-out liner is included. The armor pads appear to be a little flimsy, but it's also not a $400 jacket. In addition, I hope I will never have to put them to the test. Overall, it's a great riding jacket that helped me save a lot of money! I'm confident it'll be perfect for general riding and zipping around.
